Just so people know, Saga Rally and Kung Fu Panda (never heard of that!) were also £9.99, and I was in the Aylesford (Kent) branch.

H&R baby, H&R...

can anyone confirm that you can use PS2 controllers with the PS3? :?

Yes - according to this article:

The wireless controllers are a god-send, but you can still use the wired ones from your PS2 and the wireless ones will work the the PS2. Wouldn't it be nice if every plastic guitar were the same? The graphics and sound really pop and game plays wonderfully. Of course the biggest changes have occurred in the online department.

Thanks, Heat and Rep added.
Picked mine up from the "Maidstone" store. They've got a few more too.

EDIT: russ, didn't notice you went to the same one

i got this a few weeks ago for a tenner from comet, but cant play as im still looking for some cheap ps2 buzzers.

kung fu panda for a tenner now too though? i think i might have to look over my local one and see if its that cheap.

Yes you can, have done it myself, but also remember you can now play with upto 8 people. So its good to get the wireless ones and have your old wired ones if lots of people playing

Still think this is a good deal, but i'd probably go for ones with the wireless buzzers (not sure what the best price for this is)

Looks to be better with this to buy them as separates:
Buzz! Quiz TV with Buzzers (PS3) Cheapest appears to be £36.99
Buzz! Standalone Wireless Buzzers (PS3) £25.99

Saves a quid and a penny with this.

Where do you get the standalone buzzers for £25? They are £29.99 on play and amazon

No, you do need the buzzers (but old ps2 wired ones do work)

good find, thanks

Can you use the normal PS3 controller to play this? ... Looking to play on-line without having to buy a controller until they drop a little more in price.

yes you can

Buzz with Wireless buzzers is 29.99 from Comet just got it last week Edinburgh Kinnaird store so presume its nationwide, was in another store tonight and priced up at 49.99 but sure it would have scanned at the lower price, worth checking if your after it.

Are you sure? I don't think you can.

When I start buzz it comes to a screen saying no buzz buzzers connected, please connect to continue. I can't see a way of playing without them

Also back of box says "Buzz Buzzers Required"

Taken from my posted comments at ]ThreeSpeech.com regarding the "Buzz! Quiz TV" Collector’s edition box containing wireless buzzers and 1000 bonus questions (including the National Geographic™ Safari Quiz)...

The "Buzz! Quiz TV" pack is now available at Amazon (UK) for £41.98 (with free delivery).

Nice one, it was still £9.99 in my branch today, but it may have scanned at your lower price. I also noticed they had Singstar Solus (red cover) for £9.99 as well.

Mine had a sticker saying £4.99 but it scanned at £9.99, so they had to do a price override.
