Popped into hmv -Queen Street Cardiff- yesterday and they were selling these for £2. Don't know if this is nationwide, but worth a shot.

Good spot if anybody see one of these could they get me one and ill pay plus delivery please

Would like to know if this is nationwide, great spot if it is.

i would also like to know this!... or if someone can get me them too, many thanks!

WTF?!?!?!!!!!! Amazing bit of kit, I thoguht they were a snip at £15 but would have paid £30 last year when they were scarce supply.

Awesome but the chances of my local having them is slim... I'll give it a shot though. Gotta get outa the office at lunch anyway.

Been looking to get these for aages hopefully my local one has them

Just checked The Trafford Centre branch and full price

Store specific must be...

Cool. I got some of the old ones (with wires) last year for £2! (Portsmouth)

Great deal if you can get it, off to check my local at lunchtime. Similarly if I cannot find them and anyone is willing to go and get me one I'll happily pay £10 for your troubles. . . .

Damnit! Mainland only, tried here in NI in 2 stores then rang a third just to see and they all say nuh uh £34.99!

Great deal if you can get it. Good find OP

Wired ones cost a lot more than this in HMV Newcastle. Don't think i saw these on Sunday though.

Just checked Cardiff store, all gone it seems

so only one store is selling them and probably a misprice and this deal has hit 312 degrees

should be expired until someone else says that there store is selling them at that crazy price.

full price in Birmingham - HMV checked their system and said it is more then likely a screw-up on the price.

Sticker has £2 on it with description
Expire it if you want, seems this site has sour grapes if certain people cant get items.

And what's to say members of staff will tell you what you want to hear and then sell them on for a profit, as if that would ever happen (_;)

its not that - nobody else has found one - so my point is valid - if it is only the cardiff store then it should be expired but I keep waiting for someone else to find them at this crazy price - the enclosed batteries themselves cost a lot more!

I don't think it's a mistake, hmv in Cardiff for the last week or so has been selling of a lot of stock at crazy prices. I picked up Thrustmaster Official Disney Toy Story Ray Gun for the Wii last week for £3. They also have wireless nunchuck for £3, All umd movies-including the latest- are £2.98 with a re-play sticker on, even though they all officially sealed. Cardiff had two hmv stores until recently, so they might be trying to clear stock, either way I've had a few bargains. I bought a game there for my son a couple of weeks ago for £2.98, cant remember the name of it and he's not here right now, and his mate went in a day later with us and it was full price. We asked the guy behind to do a price check, and he said it was what was on the sticker. He even checked the system. We waited for a bit and had a look around then asked a girl who worked there and when she checked-she went deeper into the system-and found it for £2.98 They guy came back and was shocked she had found it at that price. She charged us £2.98 for it! So it is worth your while getting another member of staff to delve deeper into the system.

Just for reference, they need to type in: PLAYSTA SOLUS HC

Still full price in Preston too. Guy even checked on system

Valid point in my opinion too. 385 degrees and only found by one person! Hardly a HOT deals.

I agree, if HMV cannot find the deals on their tills then it must of been store specific or a pricing error. Nearly wasted time traveling all the way to my local store for a deal that probably does not exist outside of Cardiff.

385 degrees... my [email protected]#%

Enjoying the comments. Wonder how many of these will be left in-store where checked. Maybe it was a pricing error, maybe not. If not those kind assistants will have bought them with their staff discount when you left the store!
