The PM1 is a luxury, compact loudspeaker; the latest in a long line of Bowers & Wilkins audiophile mini monitors. It offers an extremely high-quality audio performance, and features several technological innovations.

This includes the new Carbon Braced Tweeter. An aluminium dome is strategically stiffened with a wound ring of carbon fibre, pushing the breakup frequency to above 40kHz, providing a marked improvement in performance in the audible frequencies below 20kHz. The PM1 cabinet is also unlike anything previously constructed by Bowers & Wilkins. It combines the Matrix bracing system for greater rigidity, with a new moulded baffle and top plate for improved image localization.

The enclosure, crossover and terminals are all designed to achieve maximum synergy between all the components. The result is a loudspeaker that is expansive, with incredibly coherent staging aided by the new Carbon Braced Tweeter. Coupled with unprecedented levels of scale and authority for such a compact design.

If you're still able to sit on it it's good enough.

Because it's like posting 'if you want a real car get a BMW' in a thread about a bargain Audi or Merc. I've never listened to any Naim speakers but don't doubt they make some great ones...just as B&W do.

i was expecting a reply, haha, im laughing because its on the floor in front of everything because its too big to fit anywhere, i dont care tho i got a good price on it

I'm sure no one is moronic enough to have voted cold on this, without even looking at the thread and simply based on the fact that they are aware that different speakers are always available at lower prices. With that in mind perhaps one or two of you could give us an idea where to find these ones at a better price? Thanks.

for the audiots

Sadly you're mistaken then.... there are clearly a good many members who look at a product and if they don't know anything about it or it's what they consider expensive then they vote cold, or if in doubt vote cold, or just vote cold for the hell of it.

Voted hot, I've always liked B&W speakers. Seems a good deal.

Thankfully that's only your opinion and speakers are about sound quality not looks...

Lovely speakers- almost went for these myself a few years ago.

don't care how audiophiles tate these but it is overly pricey!
