I'm not proud of this as I think I'm probably missing out on another galaxy of flavours, but every attempt has just driven me further away from it. Its a shame as this looks like a bargain!Have some heat 🔥

Yeah I can understand the transition either way can be a bit jarring, but as with single malts, there's a plethora of flavours with bourbons. Best advice I could offer is, buy a decent bottle, stick with it, and aquire the taste (with ice). I really think blantons and wild turkey 101, are a good starter, and are in malt price range. Cheers!

Arrrgghhh!!! Stop taunting us with these ridiculously priced alcoholic deals, especially the whisky and bourbons. I'm going crazy seeing them all and there none in my local stores. Fill your boots while you can at those prices, I know I would be....

Was just gonna say that. Every deal of whiskey or bourbon posted it’s from Asda.
Do Asda have centralised pricing like Tesco? Bulleit and Red Leg were both marked as around £15 in my local. Just wondering if it’ll come up cheaper at the till?

I frequently feel the same. Bowmore 12yo is £26, down from £40 at Tesco as of Tuesday though

Thanks for the heat

I've tried finding them. If I cover postage (and purchase, obviously lol) could you send me some?

Or, where is local to you?

:-0 I can't remember one of my previous deals getting a suggestion thingy before :-D

I feel happy ........... and *hic* ....... sozzled

I hope everyone finds some, or similar, in their local Asda ... Even just as gifts, they're cheap as chips, but a recipient doesn't need to know that
Glenkeith Distillery Edition and Ardmore Legacy single malts were down to £12.01. Ardmore were gone but I picked up a bottle of Glenkeith. Popped in again the next day but the Glenkeith was sold out. Jura 10yo was on sale at £18.75 though which seems a good price for a 700ml bottle.

Think these are clearance so will be store specific. They were clearing jack Daniels in my local.
Mornin' lads n lasses!

I'm just back from ASDA, no not shopping for breakfast But I did buy a few more bottles to give friends.

And, LOADS MORE things added as reductions since last night. I'm about to do an edit with tonnes more examples. brb awk and all that
Having issues updating the description :/ don't think it likes as much data :/
Full price at Burgh Heath sadly. Or fortunately.

Yer nuts lol

@lisaAylesbury made a fair point. My health is strong, currently, and I'm not missing these mental deals, and I made light of the health impacts ...

We don't know each other's histories, and concerns nor experiences. Let's not judge.

Dig further, especially around shelf ends near tills, and in alcohol fridges, or speak with staff

The truth is out there, kinda hiding in plain sight, like truffles do :-D
More examples from this morning. These get added to, every day, and throughout the day ... So keep popping in

I couldn't add these to my description area, probably because of amount of pics, so I'll put them here. I hope it doesn't cause folk too much extra scrolling.

And this mornings haul, plus yesterday's receipt

Anything in the pics, that shows no reduction, or just a RollBack label, these shall ALL be getting reduced, bit by bit, in different stores. But of course, if they sell well with just RollBack, they may not get reduced at that one shop, so go for a walk to the other ASDA up the road too

Most likely, due to minimum price per unit rules, but I'm not sure how clearance works :/

I'm a lil glad I'm down at the Chesterfield place atm, instead of Aberdeen or on the Isles, that's for sure

Thanks AngryMob....
Lots of reduced beer at my local last night (Rawtenstall), though not much left on the shelves. Seemed to have plenty of reductions on spirits too

I've no clue why they are doing this.

I know a merger with Sainsbury's failed regulatory approval last month, but on lead up to events like this companies tend to not keep much stock, because of liklyhood of many store closures.

I hope they're not in difficulty, but if they are, I'll give a pound a bottle for 10+yo single malts

Considering what day it is tomorrow, you also don't know who might stumble upon the post who have lost loved ones to alcohol or liver disease.
Great detail provided. Have some heat.
