had my eye on this and castles of callendale on cheap from works for a while - decently rated on BGG, short playtime, scale well with player numbers and easy to pickup. don't actually know anyone who's played either though for firsthand impression, but £10.50 the both can't be wrong.
Cheers for the mention @jayhutton10

Good price and heat from me

Picked up Byzanz, Castles of Caladale, Planet Defenders and Saborage all cheap a couple of months ago when they had a 30% off a £30 code. Only played Castles of Caladale so far, its OK, quick and easy, bit like carcassonne where you have to match tiles to build your tree, tudor house or castle. My 3 year old likes to build her own castle with it too.
Heat. Nice find. (Tempting, bit not buying )
byzanz is a nice little game, works best with 3 or 4 players. Good bidding mechanism, but think it may wear thin after a few games. Def worth £4.50 though.
The more I think about this game the more it makes sense. I play High Society with my family because it's quick/high player count and I like auction mechanic but it's too mean for non gamers. This could resolve that. But then again I can talk myself into any game purchase!

Got castles of caladale but it's on the pile of shame. Looks really interesting though and shouldn't be too complicated for my oldest to play rated well on bgg as you say.

No worries, I wouldn't have known about the code if it wasn't for your deal I knew these were cheap anyway but even cheaper now

For 4.50 it's got to be worth a punt if you think it would fill a hole in your library
But then I'm the same as you
