I've got this one from eBay.

32379527-9AOCk.jpg
Paid something like £8 for it and it's good.
Takes 2 aaa batteries and I've never changed them since purchase - 8 month I belive.

If you decide to buy it, make sure which version it is. Some of them can learn and program only bottom row of color buttons. The one I've got can have all the buttons programmed.

It has red TV button that switches between TV or whatever you programmed it with (IR enabled) indicated by red LED, and let's say android box remote which works with USB dongle via 2.4 GHz, indicated by Green LED.

I'm wondering whether it would work with an amazon fire tv

there is a review on amazon for something similar (just looks like a different label but same spec) which suggests it does not.

Yeah, I have two of them. They're not bad. They work by mini dongle, so connection is good.

would you pay more for the backlight ones or stick to standard?

good price, but found these things dont last long, also often drain battery like crazy
My first Air mouse got stuck on one side after a drop.
Then good a bit branded one from MIele that have it own official stores on sites like Aliexpress build quality was bit better bit battery was draining fast and due often changing them battery compartment would not close anymore.

These don't have removable batteries, they're rechargeable

The ones that look like a gaming controller, are better. They're more accurate, and easier to use. The backlight ones are really useful too when you need to write the title in a dark room. The thing is they're also bigger too, so this one is small and slick, but not as precise. And the pad ones with backlight are excellent, but larger and not as compact

Oh should have read it properly - 200mha only.

Had one, they don't last. Got stuck on one side after a few days or drop cannot really remember.

thanks man. i have ordered the standard one posted in the deal for now and go from there...

Bought cheers

so its another chinese online store along the same lines as gearbest/dealextreme etc. expect a months delivery time?

I like this type of controller better than the touch ones for general UI control.
I’ve got similar ones but with the full qwerty rather than with o and p keys separate. They seem a little hit and miss. One stopped working and the other has poor battery life (recharging).
I got one from Amazon which looks more like a standard remote (£10) which seems much better built and is a little more accurate. For under £5 this seems ok tho.

Good for showbox?

Anything has to be better than the dreadful ones that came with a lot of the droid boxes .

Am I the only one who skim-read C120 in the title and immediately thought it would be a deal for cassette tapes?

I have used them quite a bit for phones (after falling out with Gearbest) and they have been very reliable.

I also have one of these going on 2 years which I bought at the same time as my android box. Still going strong and have only changed batteries once.

I've tried those but they have the Q focus Enter problem, so when the virtual keyboard appears Q is automatically selected so when you press Enter, instead of pressing enter it types the letter Q, drove me nuts.

As far as I know they don't make the backlit version mate. I couldn't find one myself.

I was just about to buy one of those but then saw in the description (of a different listing for the same item) that it only supports IR learning on 5 buttons (power and the 4 colours). It also goes by the name "ac681".

Seems like we've got to choose between the backlight (ac681) or the full IR remote (ac750)

BASF Chrome Extra for me!

30 to 40 working day delivery is free so 6 to 8 weeks. 1.99 speeds it up a little but takes it close to ebay offerings from UK suppliers...

i have one of these devices (the original post)

Fantastic for the price works on Android TV's, Desktop PC's and Smart TV's and thats all iv'e tried.

I initially bought without knowing it had the giro mouse so that was a pleasant surprise. While its not as accurate as say a Wii curser it works in the same way and is more than accurate enough for basic navigation, i even got a few headshots as Hanzo with it.

The device worked as soon as the dongle plugged in to all of the devices tried, just be careful if using on a PC the power button works a bit too well, one misclick and you are rebooting.

will this work with WebOS LG TV?

had a rechargeable air mouse and it loses power every 30min. might be worth getting a battery operated air mouse.
