Thought this looked like a pretty good idea. So I can hook my phone up to a TV and play a 4K video. Can anyone who's used something similar let me know if it's that straight forward or is there any setup / faff involved? £1.58 coupon on page should knock it down to this price.

"IF" it works with your phone, it'll be using a decent bit of power and will drain the battery pretty quickly, unless there's some new and clever tech in there? This would be better for connecting a macbook etc.

That's what I was thinking woldranger. Better to buy one of those hubs instead, as they always have a USB-C for charging at the same time, (even though a bit bulkier.)

There was a cheap one on here earlier this week but it only had one USB3 port on. I was tempted but need more than one USB port so I can copy photo's between 2 drives without having to copy them to my phone.
I bought one a while back didn't work on my android phone ,saw some reviews after it said mainly for iPads and Macs
