But that was proper British chocolate and worth every penny - ask Al Murray.
This is imitation Yank chocolate flavoured candy. Only two things wrong with it.

Over here.
Overpriced

You should call it enjoyment tax

I guess I should have put /sarcasm and /sarcasm off tags in the post.

Never thought that would be required on

Mondelez/Cadbury in that documentary the other month said that the recipe for dairy milk has never changed. Are they lying or have my taste buds changed as I've aged? Dairy milk tastes like cardboard
Loads in Scunthorpe

Mines selling them for £6. At 70p/100g it's good but not enough for me to bite

Recipe the same but using cheaper ingredients or cutting corners in the 'processing' maybe?

The recipe may not have changed, but a switch to the suppliers they use elsewhere would change the taste.

Just like if you changed from tesco tinned tomatoes to Lidl ones, your pasta sauce would taste different

Nope - different recipe. Palm or Shea fat never used in the original Cadbury milk chocolate recipe.

They're lying. Authentic Cadbury chocolate never contained Palm or Shea fat originally.
