Seems very good value in my opinion. 2 bars are 110g, 2 bars are 120g (No Idea as to the weight on each). In this Retro Secltion box, you'll get: 1x Dairy Milk, 1x Caramel, 1x Fruit & Nut & 1x Whole Nut. Each bar with retro packaging.

not really, just a retro picture on the modern wrapping,
they should be wrapped in foil with a paper sleave over the top for proper retro goodness

Kraft Krap has Palm Oil in it. Palm Oil has absolutely no business being in chocolate!!!

Couldn't agree more. The Lidl milk chocolate at 30p a bar for 💯 g is delicious. And has a higher cocoa solid content than many of the brands do these days. I also like their white and dark. Much better than the stuff they call Cadburys now. Sadly. I fondly remember visiting Cadburys World as a kid and tasting EVERYTHING! Haven't eaten a bar of theirs for at least 18minths now. It's just not worth the money, or the empty calories. Cooking chocolate tastes better.

doubt they'd rejig the formula just for this one product, most likely the same as normal choc with just different wrapper, but im purely speculating

Good value, thanks for posting!

Remember these well<3

Cadburys Caramel is cheap nasty stuff. Heroes tubs are full of thin runny caramel choc

Are these produced in Hungary , thanks to the Kraft takeover ?

Awful stuff.

I bet it doesn't have the original retro taste, I don't know why people say they're awful when they're not but have to admit they seemed to taste better years ago

Yeah I'm not sure they're any worse or different from when I was eating them as a kid 30+ years ago. It's not like Cadbury's was ever high quality chocolate, it's high vegetable oil based chocolate which used to be jokingly called vegelate. I still liked it....that slightly greasey milky chocolate.

I don't like the fact Modelez bought the company and now churns out so many vomit inducing versions of the tried and trusted Cadbury's chocolate bars.

I am glad they brought back Wisper bars though

Thanks just ordered 2 on my shopping

Cold = how to get out of shape.

They couldn't even put the chocolate in its original foil wrapping just the same vacuum plastic. The only good thing Fruit and Nut mmm

I like cadburys chocolate despite the perceived 'ruining' of the recipe. Still tastes good to me. Seems like a decent amount for the money too.

Not keen on the Lidl stuff at all. All subjective though ain't it, so not much currency in declaring something of such varied appeal awful or not

You're absolutely right. They really missed a trick there. How expensive is a bit of foil and paper. Come on Cadburys pull your socks up!

Do these contain chocolate ?

Have they actually changed the recipe for dairy milk?

Yes each to there own. I mean it's a good deal compared to the rrp of the item so I have added heat for the find and the effort. Just prefer not to eat the brand anymore.

lowest is £5 anywhere else so this is a bargain, especially when you think a kids selection box with 4/5 bars is about 200g for the same price

How very true - and Cadbury's chocolate has now been bastardised to such an extent that it's a key ingredient, just to save money and increase profits:

Yeah just reactivated my account after a few years using the app and ive been training like a saiyan, also read some research on chocolate addiction, it's been compared to being as addictive and harmful as cocaine.

Yes, it's dreadful stuff - but it's cheap dreadful stuff so watch it get super hot on HUKD!

The whole nut ones from Lidl and Aldi kick ass compared to the cadburys whole nut (although I still love the cadburys ones) but the lidl/aldi ones are chunkier blocks with bigger bits of nuts and lovely tasting chocolate, they are only about 60p for a half decent sized bar as well. They are in the green wrapper if anyone wants to look for them. They are step above the cadburys.
