Only found these thanks to a post for Quality Street , which for me have too many toffees which play havoc with my fillings!
Think these are a cracking price and can't see that they have been posted yet

Celebrations are £10 in Tesco

Are you sure? All the tins were marked up as £5 in my store today?

when did sainsburys start charging normal prices or even beating tesco and asda for prices?

Very sure, unless the sainsburys website is wrong
sainsburys.co.uk/gro…559

Hehe I am off to get some as we speak... bargain! No doubt these will go up 10 fold over the next few weeks (I predict £9.99 nearer to Christmas) so I would fill your boots!

Is it an 800g tin if that 800g is 50g of packaging and they count that in the 800g? And I'm not even talking about the individual wrappers on the sweats either, that is the tin, then you have the wrappers, and finally you have a little chocolate.

£8 and £10 rrp,what a complete joke!!

Apparently the new Lee Evans dvd has an RRP of £21, I think not pal

Yes I think the tins are getting smaller.
Agree they are never going to sell at £10 (otherthan maybe a few days before Christmas, unless they go even lower as shops tery and clear stock). £5 is the norm, or maybe 2 for £8, but as a single tin offer this seems to be the best out there

plus 20% off for staff starts 1st dec

Finally people are beginning to wake up and notice the supermarket fake offers, these were NEVER worth £10. This is the best deal so far though none of this 2 for nonsense. Every year they trundle these tins out and try and persuade you they are the bargain of the year when in fact you are paying what they are really worth.

Showing as £5 online still, even via the link above? Is it just me?

Its showing as £3.99 online for me but I've not gone through to check-out as I'm popping into the local store after work to get mine as its only across the road from me.

sainsburys price match or even beat both asda and tescos prices. Whether they are reduced/BOGOF.
Can't remember full details but it was on a tv advert I saw the other day

they give you a voucher for the diffrence in price that you spend on your next shop. but if you shop online you dont get one!!!!, i got my shopping delivered last week from them and was told that you dont get it for online shopping

Thanks, these are always popular in our house at Christmas, and £3.99 is a very sensible price!
Cheers

I was in Tesco earlier and they was full price (£10).
Thanks for this.

Anyone found out if this is instore atm? was pondering to go shopping today but if it start tomorrow ill wait! Good price though

you should have bought them! then picked up a price drop leaflet in your store which states that celebrations are half price until the 4th december. Gone to CS and got DTD then JTD on price check

£5 in store. We asked at Customer Services and were told the offer wouldn't start in store until tomorrow. Needless to say we'll be getting the Tesco offer instead

You would need to buy two of these to price match a BOGOF offer, also need to spend over £20 on shopping. One thing though if you got something that lets say would be £2 cheaper in sainsburys it would cancel out the £2 saving on the other products (values used for an example).

The website says they are £3.99 delivery by 4/12/2011 so it think it would likely be instore also.

So you'd rather pay £10 than £3.99

Or get for free as per page 1 on HUKD

I hate Quality Street, thanks.
