Good deal. I used to like Bounville chocolate before Modelez or who ever took it over. More vegetable oil than anything else now.

Not to take away from the Original posters deal as its a good one if you wanted a little treat for a child I have to agree. At a time when everyone is trying to use less single use plastic Cadbury are bringing out more and more products in those horrible thick plastic pouches, individually wrapping chocolates inside too and making these. I don't know if the plastic used in these treasure boxes is recyclable but the horrible pouches are not. then there are the billions of plastic tubs they make over Christmas with each sweet wrapped in more plastic. I now refuse to buy anything in those pouches. If products needs to be wrapped in plastic then at least use 1,2 or 4 so we can at least attempt to recycle it. it really annoys me when 1 company has the same type of product in a recyclable pack and then another uses non recyclable plastic. there really is no excuse. Another big offender is cat biscuit and treat manufacturers, everything I looked at from one of them comes in non recyclable packaging. disgraceful. we recently tried Lidl's tomato sauce. yes it cheaper but its in a plastic that can't be recycled, however Heinz sauce bottles are so we shall stick with them. it really is a losing battle until companies are forced to do something about it globally

4 bar multipack - two bites and that's it. Gone! It's a shame that they're ruining all these iconic products. Cabana - a chocolate I haven't eaten in over 30 years. Didn't like it as a kid, wonder how I'd find the taste profile to be like now I've progressed in years. Texan - nah thanks! Ultra chewy nougat to keep your kids quiet and your dentist in profit.

Father-Jemima-Racktool

Didn’t see this in the survey...

CDP

Good price in the current market. About all they're worth nowadays though, with the shrinkage they've snuck in. I like these, but no longer buy on principle.

Ah they must be new packets as the terms and conditions on the website says 31st July 2019. Still, 2020 is even better 8)

Mofette

Packet I have just picked up, the deal expires 31/7/2020 - so good for quite a while!

andrewworrall1

Voucher valid until 31st July 2019, there's no way the packs are only available until the end of May, they're still available in literally almost any shop I go in that sells chocolate

skidderbrown

Yes The website says the packs are available until the end of May.. Guess there might be some hanging around...Off hunting I go...

andrewworrall1

Most good shops (and some rubbish ones too) should sell the promotional packets. No need to send any forms off, just cut the voucher out from the packaging, take it to the selected attraction you're going to, buy a full price adult ticket and you should then get an additional free ticket

MIDURIX

I don't think its a bad thing countries growing soy, as long as the damage caused is limited. The case in Argentina sounds alarming, but its gone from pretty much nothing to a normal level for a crop. We grow about that much rapeseed in the uk and you don't see yellow field everywhere you look. Anyway, pretty much all chocolate contains palm oil. Green and Black etc will say its from sustainable sources, Cadburys like pretty much everyone else has always had it in the recipe, it's just not had to be on the packaging u til recently due to EU laws. They were bought by a big bad evil American company though, so it makes it that much easier to blame them completely and let everyone else off :p

tony_colmer

Kind of agree, reducing the demand for meat would indeed help. But this is only a partial cause, there are many factors that contribute to it. China are the largest importer of soy and they have said they want to increase the amount they import by 50% by 2020. In Argentina alone in the last 30years they have increased the land used to farm soy from 38,000 hectares to 1.6million hectares. I think its good awareness has been raised about this by an advert an companies should look to reduce or completely exclude its use of soy. But again it is just a popular topic now, give it 6months an there will be a new evil in the world that people will be against.

MIDURIX

I guess that's because of the Iceland advert. Was reading that less than 1% of the expansion of soy farming comes at the detriment of the forest, so 99% of new soy plantations are on already deforested land. Why would you go to the effort of cutting down trees and planting palm and soy when you could do it on already deforested land? Most of the deforestation is for cattle, for meat and leather. I think its great taking a stand, but there are so so many other things going on which are far worse it's weird that palm oil has picked up so much momentum. Not eating beef and wearing leather would make much more of an impact, but then again neither of those have such a great advert on TV and a new cuddly toy for the cause :p

Siddy

When you put it like this it's a mile to my nearest & I have free parking permit for a car park in the center. Will I forget? YES

TO good

Carriecakes

Oh chocolate definitely doesn't taste as good as it used to...it used to melt in the mouth properly, but these days, it does taste more chemical. Ie the tins of Roses, they used to be so creamy, now, the chocolate tastes like American stuff, which is vile. Not a hater, more of a stater! lol. Gimme good ol' Aldi chocolate these days, its definitely more like Chocolate used to be, creamy and moreish! Ps, I know they aren't cadburys, but I still want to cry when I remember how nice Smarties chocolate used to be when they melted, now, they taste hard and cardboardy, and no matter how hard I suck 'em its just not the same experience as it used to be, utter yuck! ;-)

"you can get in home bargains at 2 for a £1 (like cheapnnasty1 pointed out) and I've seen them in Poundland at 2 for a £1 too!" Is that the cheapest chocolate on the market?

little_deal_minx

Wow, the weight needs to be in the title because people will vote thinking it's a proper box you'd buy in the supermarkets- not that it's the tiny 78g ones that you can get in home bargains at 2 for a £1 (like cheapnnasty1 pointed out) and I've seen them in Poundland at 2 for a £1 too! These are 50p more expensive for such a small amount of chocolate- cold, cold, cold!

ChocolateLover20

It was a 78g box, I haven't seen any for that cheap before

cheapnnasty1

If it's the small 78g box then it's a big fat cold. Home bargains sell them for 59p or 2 for a pound

basil1234

and what is the wonderful size of these 75p box of chocs then we can make an informed choice?
