£1.79 for 10 in Lidl. Superior lungo. Only have 1 type of each lungo ristretto or espresso.

I've tried both (plus some I found in Poundland) and found Cafe pod to be the best alternative. Although nothing beats the original Nespresso capsules for taste and freshness imo.

ps Cafe pod currently £2.20 in Waitrose if you're not near/boycotting Tesco

Are these actually even cheaper than official Nespresso?

Just done a quick search on Amazon, and official ones are looking like around 50p per pod, so these do seem good price, if quality is good. Hot from me.

Anyone tried them? Would like to read reviews. Cheers

The vast majority of nespresso pods are 29p each. Or £2.90 for a pack of 10. Some are 30/33p each and the 'special' ones at 35 or 38p.

These aren't worth the saving you make. If you can't afford or don't want to pay nespresso prices, why bother with such an expensive machine? Buy a Tassimo or similar as those, and their pods are cheaper.

If you're having Cappuccino or Lattes then Tassimo actually works out more expensive at 50-66p as you have two pod system, one for the coffee and one for the milk. As pointed out above Nespresso capsules vary from 29-35p (Limited edition Cubania is 38p) and from Nespresso.com. If you buy them from Amazon then you're getting ripped off!
