Disagree, it shows the overall price and what this equates to as a unit price. No different to a mobile phone deal where it shows the overall contract price and what this breaks down to per month excluding / including cashback, when you can’t take out a single months contract. Peope will want to know the per unit price to compare against what they would pay at Nespresso or L’or etc also, these were pretty crap when I got some: the foil was really thin and broken on 3 pods from the pack, machine didn’t seem to like 2 of the others. Not a great experience for me so sticking with L’or - but there just my experience. Taylor’s of Harrogate equally bad.

Because you can't buy one for 12.7p as post title implies. To get the equivalent of 12.7p each you have to buy 16 boxes of 20 pods (320 pods in total) and spend £45+ plus in the process. Might as well post a similar deal for the milk to go with it... Milk just 16.8p per pint... when you buy 30000L tanker load. Just because a single unit may well cost an equivalent cheap amount, it isn't necessarily a good deal if you have to spend a small fortune on multiple units which might go to waste to get it for that price.

cant justify ordering more than 1 box to test first...

Lovely coffee but my machine hates them

DatAlbino

Great deal, just a few p more than Morphy Richards pods and infinitely better coffee. Heat

nice one, ordered

Have some heat on me. Thanks OP The strength refers to the flavour not the caffeine content for those who aren't aware.

Georgler

Totally depends whether you like a good strong long coffee or an espresso. I really like the Ristretto, however I've just ordered 60 Supercharger as they sound pretty good. They're worth the money for a fact.

Nice one

The £10 also works on the Dolce Gusto pods, which is great as the last ££-off I got was nespresso only

Yes, I meant Nespresso and realise you said Nescafe (my bad), still 25p per pod though.

redduck

did you mean Nespresso pods rather than nescafe because Nespresso and dolce gusto are both made by nescafe.

Peter_Oz

The Nescafe pods aren't suitable for Dolce Gusto machines

mac1611

yep i tried them when they were on offer at sainsburys not very nice ive gone back to my old espresso machine done away with pods too expensive .Lidls columbian coffee amazing !!!

Darkeru

I picked up a box of Cafe Pod Americano at a supermarket before. No-one has touched one after the first time trying. They're horrible.

I took advantage of this offer and was nicely surprised by the first box but have had problems with the foil coming away from the pod since then. I find there's a lot more water in the waste tray as it escapes from the pod, presumably all due to poor design, the foil not perforating and pressure build up. If I stick the foil with a few pin holes first it works better but a bit of a faff. I wouldn't buy them again at full price. Taste OK though.

Rickardo

Stranger still, all these "nice" people here who use the apparently inferior compatibles on their guests, whereas historically people would have served guests their finest. How times have changed.

Rickardo

I've just finished my lot from this offer and not one problem with stuck pods etc. (except when the mrs forgets to empty the recepticol and it is overflowing!). These were good, however, I have an Aldi machine and have never tried original Nespresso pods anyway. Just switching to the carte noir ones I got on offer on Amazon.

futura

I ordered the last time this offer was on and had to return them. Apart from the fact they were just crumpling up in my machine and ended up breaking it (thankfully 3 yr warranty!) on others the seal didn't break. Cafe pod admitted they had known issues with their pods and would be releasing a new version later this year. Hence it's likely that this offer is designed to get rid of the current fault stock. Shame as the coffee wasn't bad at all on the few that did work (before my machine broke)
