My thoughts exactly, really didn't want to spend £80 on a branded Frother

only just bought it will update when I get home and get it set up

OOS

just spoke to Robert Dyas. According to the sales assistant, this coffee machine is not compatible with nespresso pods...

can anyone confirm if that is correct?

Have had one for a couple of weeks. Bought it for the milk heater/ frother .
Not as robust as Nespresso machine but still working well. It is compatible with Nespresso pods and the generic versions.

mushuj - you are 100% sure it is compatible with Nespresso pods?

It must be compatible with Nespresso pods. The picture has the pods in them and it states it holds 10 pods.

I have just bought one but the guy at Robert Dyas advised me that he is pretty sure you cannot use them.

He said when they initially came out they were selling them for £100 but no one bought them as you had to go buy pods off caffe fusions website (which I couldn't find) and as these were the only pods compatible, no buyers! hence the reduction to £30...

would really help if anyone can confirm if they have used a nespresso capsules with this machine?

They'll be having it back if that's the case. The chap above your post states that nespresso pods work with it though. Those are definitely Nespresso pods in the photo.

I've just spoken to a chap named Andy at Robert Dyas who couldn't say what capsules this machine uses but did agree with me that the picture does show nespresso pods. He has stated that it can be returned if it isn't compatible as it would have been falsely advertised. Recorded the phone call too.

Such a shame it's out of stock

Unless i've misread this, didn't Nespresso have the rights to this particular capsule/design and that expired fairly recently which is why Nespresso are no longer the only manufacturer? Could be wrong.

Nespresso no longer have the rights to the design which is why there are a few third party pods out there but if this is nespresso compatible, it'll be the first machine I've seen that isn't an official one.

let us know if any of you end up actually using nespresso pods on it. I have held off my order of pods until it is 100% confirmed!

I have one of these at home and also one in the office, they definitely take nespresso pods.

Just bought one in their Warren street/Tottenham court road branch. 2 left in the back left corner.

where do you guys get ur nespresso pods from? seen 50 assorted on Amazon for £25

They're 10 for £2 in Tesco or 2 packs for £4 in Sainsbury for compatibles.

Aldi sell them. Also quite a few online stores. Coffee Direct is one example.

Got this home today and it defo takes Nespresso and the milk frother is fantastic!
Only thing is that a small cup is too small and a large cup is too big - pretty sure you can reprogram cup sizes though, so will have a play later.

Mine has arrived. Amazing bit of kit. Definitely takes nespresso pods. Cup sizes can be adjusted to taste and the milk frother is amazing.

Hi guys. I just got the last one in Stock in Finchley but it came without the coffee machine manual. Any idea where I could find a pdf version of the manual ? this is a shame, I don't want to return the machine. Can somebody tell me if the quality of the coffee that makes is good? thanks

Same here, last one on the shelf & could do with a manual myself. I've had it a few days. it doesn't seem to pop through the pods tho - probably me getting the set up wrong.

Thanks so much to the OP for this. Just ordered one with the code for the princely sum of £24.99. Can't wait to use it. Now I wish I could remember what the dark green pods were that my work used to order.

Just gone out of stock as I was ordering Website states 2 left on the product page but it cancelled my checkout just as i returned from Paypal!

Ah well, good deal if you can get one The pods are the important bit really and nespresso make the best out there..so this is a bit of a bargain

Managed to get one for 25.49 using code REWARD15....pretty chuffed with that, thanks.

Does anyone know if it's only coffee pods nespresso do or have they got a hot choc range?

Nespresso only do coffee no chocolate no tea nothing with dried milk in it just pure coffee cheers

How do these machines compare with the citiz/more expensive coffee maker models and alike? Any new owners care to share?

Cheers
