This bike has great reviews and was also MBR bike of 2015. Looks like they are clearing stock ready for the new Bossnut this year. Also if you know anyone with a student discount card I believe there is another 10% discount available.

Great price.
I got one last year and it is superb, don't know how they do it for the price.
Can get this through the cycle to work scheme also if your employer operates it.

Cost price is about £730 so there is still margin on it.

Also, if it's on a promotion, it's unlikely that they will give you a double discount for student, forces, caravan club etc. Doesn't hurt to ask as they may *really* be trying to shift the stock but don't be disappointed. Its a cracking bike for the normal price let alone £899.

14.5kg ouch.. spec looks ok for the money..

You don't tend to worry about the weight to much when you're having all that fun!

Have a look on Singletrack forum. Quite a few people have had problems with the rear wheel travelling too far and hitting the seat tube.

Are you sure you're setting it up properly?

Shame they don't it in a bigger size, I'm 6"4 and can't find an entry level full sus

Really nice entry FS, and much nicer in the flesh than in the pics. They've some decent hardtails too!

Depends were you ride for me 14.5kg would be a right slog up the hillsides of West Yorkshire/Calderdale/dark peak/Pennines.

But like you say a flattish trail centre like sherwood pines, its fun on anything as theirs no uphill slogs

I never mentioned sherwood pines :). The bike will be grand anywhere, as ever the limiting factor with bikes is the person riding it.

This can easily do all the trail centres and mad of piste stuff if the rider is capable
