Hmmm, in the sign it says call of duty infinite warfare day 1. Are you sure its the legacy edition they are selling for at this price?

It appears to be in the wrong place, unless you can provide a receipt or something

Hmmmm

Asked at the till they confirmed it was this one they are selling. I'm not buying something that doesn't interest me but hey thought it would help someone

No offence to the nice people that work in that Sainsburys but they have about as much clue about the gaming stuff there as they do about running a nuclear reactor. Did they scan the item itself to get a price?

Yeah, it's entirely possible that it could be this price, but i'd need to see proof to believe it

Does the MW1 come as a code?
So you could add to your PS4 then sell the other game separately?

No, annoyingly you need the IW disk to play MWR. There are workarounds but I wouldn't solely rely on that.
I keep holding on to the hope that they remove the disk check. It isn't needed just Activision being cashtivision.

Good deal if you can get it but I think OP has messed up here.

Asking for advice.

I have the older PS3.

Purely for multiplayer - which edition of the call of duty francise would you recommend - to buy?

If you're on Xbox One, you can get a used Legacy Edition (which includes both MW Remastered and IW, as it's on the disc) from eBay for typically around £5-13 (+P&P). I've seen one bought for about £5.50 + P&P which I missed out on, and got one for about £10.

None of them, they've all been hacked.

The best of the bunch is Black Ops 2, others may disagree.

That's not the legacy edition

I do keep reading / hearing that Black Ops 2 is the best of the bunch.

I would like to hear how many others agree / disagree with this?

I can confirm. Saw it yesterday but didn't bite.

To be honest, the workarounds work pretty much spot on every time. At least for multiplayer. Single player can take a few attempts. I sold the disc on pretty much as soon as I bought it when I found out how to do the glitch. Still, can't deny it's put me off buying anything like that from them again. They clearly know about the workaround, and left it for those like me who are pee'd off. Can't understand why they just wouldn't update it to not need the disc. It's been a year!

It has been a year and they have since released it. They have no excuses tbh.

Maybe they cannot do anything about the work around. I will keep my IW disk because its barely worth much these days. Just annoying having to delete it every time I wish to play MWR.

that isn't the legacy edition.

It really is a shame, that the publishers dont maintain the older games on the PS3.

They are full to the brim of hackers and cheats (multiplayer).

To be honest its a total abuse of the trust they earned. by consumers that supported them with our cash.

Their exploting their power over those that cant do anything about it.
