I'm no COD fan but this was £69.99 a few days ago so not sure if this is a glitch.

Infinite Warfare plus the remastered Modern Warfare. £39.99 on PS4 too.

On the PS4 description it says suitable for PS3.
worth a punt. wasn't going to buy it so if they cancel at the last minute I'm not bothered
No way was i gonna pay £70 for this but just ordered at this price, cannot WAIT to play COD:MW Remastered. Heat added.

On the PS4 description it says suitable for PS3.

same with the X1 version it says suitable for Xbox 360, however I can't see it being 360 with a remastered cod4 lol! hoping it is the legacy edition as the title only states the Base game but the description says otherwise, we will see
Thanks have gone for it. I don't think it's coming out for 360 so think it's safe to say it's xbox one edition
Looks genuine to me, on the mobile site the standard edition is listed separately for £49.99, and this edition states 'save £30, was £69.99'.

The description also says:
The Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Legacy Edition is the ultimate 2-games-in-1 package with Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered.

Then again it also says 'available for delivery tomorrow' :s

We'll see I guess, cheers anyway OP.

Do they take payment straight away
FYI the remastered modern warfare is a digital download and not on the disc

Yes, which means they'll have to honour the sale. If it is a mistake, you'll be lucky!

Which is the whole reason why it is such a great deal, you can keep MW Remastered and sell infinite.
Great deal thanks OP!

I'd of thought you will need the infinite disc in to play the remastered game but hopefully not

Not necessarily. Until it is despatched they haven't actually sold you the item. Many can get around this by simply saying the stock all sold out and just issue a refund. Not much a consumer can do about this.

Possibly the biggest misconception around consumer law.

Tricky one. Purely in terms of purchasing, Argos advertise a product. That's an "invitation to treat". You offer, i.e. click the buy button. They take the money. At that point, they have accepted your offer, and formed a binding contract in legal terms. Of course, you're right - they could say they are out of stock, but not only would that be very shady, it would be hard for them to do - this isn't a limited edition product produced in small numbers - it's just another variation of the base game and should be available quite easily.

All this is just my opinion though - who knows what Argos will do....heat added, and order placed...

A well reasoned reply. But yes it all depends on the company, but consumer law does not actually favour the consumer when it comes to misprices. But a good customer focused company can choose to honour it if they see fit. Distance selling is still a very subjective entity and your rights only 100% kick in once you receive a despatch email, not before.

Ordered, cheers op

£40 for a game (or two games in this case) that has an RRP of £70? Yes sire!

Already ordered through PayPal!

A good company would gladly honour this deal, be it a mistake or not.
I'm in for the remaster only!
Only worry is is that the game says infinite war and doesn't specify the legacy edition...could cause mistakes by them? Either way I've ordered and saved pictures of what I ordered so let's see what happens!

Yes, the company is the big variable. Although the "invitation to treat" side of consumer law is in basic terms quite straightforward, sellers can adapt their terms and conditions to include a statement that the contract is only formed once the delivery to the buyer is complete. Generally this is quite well hidden. There was a case a while back where Screwfix flogged something at some ridiculous price, and the "invitation to treat" aspect of consumer law didn't work in the customer's favour, as Screwfix's terms had been very carefully written to ensure that delivery formed the contract, not acceptance of money..

So, I guess in summary - misprices are a crapshoot. You may have a leg to stand on if the seller does not want to honour - but you may not.

This is in the Activision FAQ, wording i a little odd as it doesn't have the intention that you have to keep Infinite Warfare. Just own it to get MW in the first instance.

7. Can I play Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare Remastered without buying Call of Duty®: Infinite Warfare?
No, you must own Call of Duty®: Infinite Warfare in order to get Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare Remastered.

4. Will Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare Remastered come as a separate disc?
No, Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare Remastered is a full game digital download that will be included in the Legacy, Legacy Pro, and Digital Deluxe editions of Call of Duty®: Infinite Warfare. Internet connection required.
An actual product question.... What's the best console to get this for.... From a graphical/technical point of view...? And differences etc...ps I anyway added heat before my first comment hehe
Thanks, ordered for both consoles. Fingers crossed :-)
Ordered. Black Ops 3 was the best cod in years and even though I don't play as much as I used to this is a cracking deal especially with the cod4 remaster!

Its like Minecraft telltale, you need the disc in to launch the extra game as they mentioned during unveiling I believe (unless they change it)

Pretty sure this will be the case. You needed AC Revelations disc to play AC 1 on ps3. It won't be any different. They aren't daft!
Wasn't really interested at anything over £50 but this has convinced me. Thanks... I guess
Thanks OP...Ordered 2 for my nephews...

Cheers...Heat added...
