getting close to biting point...

more resale value on Xbox one if you have both consoles.

Sorry, I know nothing about this game but my box is asked for the new COD that includes the Old one he had on his PS3, so this looks like what hes after. Is this a good deal?

Modern Warfare Remastered just got a massive update today as well. It now includes all the maps from the original game, along with a Winter version of Crash. (So 7 maps were added today)

Now the rest of the update may not be to everyones taste, it's no longer a remaster, it's now a 'remake'

The game now features supply drops, weapon kits, new weapons, new characters, camos, reticules etc.

Everything is cosmetic only, and personally I think some of the Weapon Kits etc look ace. But it does mean it's no longer a pure remaster of the much loved CoD4.

I believe this is the cheapest at the moment.

Closer to a decent price too.

With the Xbox version being both on disk and not a DLC code, it should hold its value.

Maybe

I still think 30 is my biting point... maybe

I agree.
But also, don't forget about the free to play on 15th-20th so you can give it a try if you haven't already

Frustratingly I pre-ordered this from Smyths, got it with £5 off and a couple of po bonuses.

But that's just for Infinite Warfare. The legacy edition is to get the Modern Warfare Remaster, that's what the majority really want

Soon this game will cost you a pack of Chewits

Or save yourself £35... … Or save yourself £35... :)https://www.amazon.co.uk/Call-Duty-Modern-Warfare-Game/dp/B000RE3I9Y/

Yes but that doesn't work on PS4 and the PS4/Xbox One version is a full proper re-make not just a lazy higher res remaster. Modern Warfare Remastered is exactly how these things should be done which makes it even worse you are forced to buy Infinite Warfare to get your hands on it.

If ur into the zombie side of infinite ware fare worth a go I really enjoy the zombies can't stand multiplayer but modern ware care so far for me is awesome

Good price, close to the earlier Argos mis-price and enjoying the old fashioned pure MWR, less so IW.

Also bullet damage is OP on the remaster. I played around 1000 hours on COD4 and about 2/3 hrs on MWR and I cannot get on with it.

That hurt my brain oO

Just did a quick search and CeX will give £43 instore voucher atm so if you don't like it in theory it will cost £2 for the game if you trade before the inevitable price crash thats coming.

Will it not be possible to just buy MW Remastered at some point?!

Ooh getting close
Thinking I should but knowing my luck I'll bite this and they'll be cheap someplace else

Not sure about cheaper, especially before xmas, but there will undoubtedly be the usual Amazon price match..

I wouldn't pay £5 for this garbage

Thanks OP my son asked me for this last night. Can also use £5 Sainsbury's voucher to bring it down to £39.99!

Price updates once reserved

It may be but probably not until they've milked this version for all its worth

I wonder if Amazon will match

Almost certainly..

This is still £64.99 this morning. Is it definitely starting today?

Yes. When you reserve it the confirmation email comes through at the reduced price.

I've read here that the Xbox one version is the one to get. can you elaborate please? I have both ps4 and Xbox one and I'm not sure which platform I should get it on. do you get the remastered version on disc with the Xbox one version?

It's showing at higher price - but when you add to basket it drops to £49.99. Price is now live.

Original Poster

£44.99 - not £49.99

Sorry - typo. Yes it's £44.99

I might bite... we'll see.
