This is the cheapest place I can find it. I have added the voucher to bring it down to £38.99 (normally £39.99).

Looks to be a fantastic game.

Looks good.

I'd wait until Game or Gamestation announce a multiplayer beta code giveaway with their pre-orders. They'll probably be the same price as this anyway.

too early

this is a voucher, not a deal on this game!

Wait for the supermarkets the week before release, no point preordering imo

never to early

@ that price it is. £27.73----£32 a bargain above that and it's normal price

It is a game deal.........all I did was ADD the voucher, to bring the price of the game down.

Why is this being voted cold, is it cheaper elsewhere that I do not know, if so for the rest of us could you post where. Also if this is just being voted cold because you do not want to pre-order come on thought this place was about deals not personnel preference

I did not vote it cold ..have not voted yet

Really looking forward to this game the only problem I've got is that the new halo is due out around the same time so don't know which one will get the look in :?

lol, never said you did , just enquiring to those that did

Same price at Blockbuster, and cheaper at PowerPlay Direct.

Probably because it's months from being released and competition from the various stores to get your business will create a price war soon enough. You're better off waiting it out and getting it cheaper with some extras thrown in nearer release date. Besides, I've never seen a big budget title completely sell out on release day. At least not with modern games like Halo3, Gears2, GTA etc.

You may be correct and then you may not be it would be great if we could all see what the price and extras are going to be in future. Can you guarantee that the price will be cheaper? As all I am doing is giving the cheapest price at the moment

lol, ill wait untill its £17.99 - already got 20 or so unplayed games!

Although considering the original didnt fall in price till a few months ago maybe ill wait till its £25....

Either way i suppose for those of you that like your games on release day then as said above wait till asda have it - COD5 was under £30 for its first week I seem to remember?

CD-WOW £1 cheaper than blockbuster and 50p cheaper than powerplay

There will nearly always be a good offer near release day for popular games, happens most of the time. Like someone else said COD5 was £27 on release day at ASDA.

Although preorder from certain places like shopto means you get the game 1-2 days early.

Yes it is the cheapest at the moment, but I will wait. Not voted hot or cold.

I can't guarantee cheaper prices but I would expect like with previous COD releases that Game or Gamestation will have a multiplayer beta code promo for pre-orders. And like others have said the supermarkets usually have the best prices and plenty of copies on release day. Personally I don't see the point in pre-ordering games nowadays since they never seem to sell out. I haven't voted hot or cold btw.

I wouldn't touch any game from CD-WOW where you would expect to buy DLC in the future.
The reason I say this is that if you get a non-UK release (yes I know it say PAL but CDWOW aren't the best at reliably describing items) then you may find the DLC from the UK PSN doesn't work. I have found this in the past and had to go to the US PSN to get the item (ok if Free but a problem if you need to pay).

Have to say that I have never pre-ordered games myself, this was a post for those that like to have games on day of release or before. I will be waiting until it reduces after 6 months or so (think the reason why COD5 was cheap was because it was a terrible game compared to COD4)

i think it looks a mix between resident evil and ghost recon advanced warfighter? maybe its just me!!?

looks good though! =D

On release day due to the games massive hype i reckon it will be available cheaper than this from many places.

£38.99!???
who wants to bet this will be around £29.99 on release day from at least 1 retailer...?

Built on the same engine as COD4, not quite terrible and based on reviews at the time I don't think ASDA sold it cheap on that basis.

Using your voucher, which doesn't count. Otherwise you could list every product that CD-WOW sell as it will be cheaper if you use a voucher!

I wonder if CDWOW would take the money out of your account NOW. They normally do and then end up refunding you after sending you an email like "Couldn't get hold of stock" even though they are still selling it but not at the original price.

Cannot wait for this game, however it is lacking graphically from what i have seen sofar compared to Killzone, i also hope they adopt the multi-mode option you get with Killzone online.

And as others have I expect a supermarket price war when its released.

gamestation have the ps3 and 360 versions available for pre order at the ridiculous price of £44.99. I'd wait until nearer the time as you said, it may even be cheaper in the various supermarkets etc.

Oh and nice avi:thumbsup:

save tscc.

Fair do's, I hadn't checked. I'm just hoping they announce a beta giveaway :-D. The multiplayer is the main thing I'm looking forward to with this game.

me too, this is going to be the biggest thing in gaming this year. If there isn't any decent offers via pre order and beta demo etc then for the first time ever I'll be taking myself off to a midnight launch with fellow weirdos, the socially inept and little kids.

I do love those that voted this COLD because they will get it cheaper when it is released. I take it when it is released you will vote it COLD again because in 3-6 months it will be cheaper again, and then cheaper again after that makes you wonder why anyone would want to post a DEAL when all your going to do is vote it COLD because it will be cheaper in 6 months!!!!!!!

Not voted either way but I would be surprised if it's not available for around £30 either pre-order or instore.

Unless they use Nintendo's strategy and deliberately under supply (which works very well for them!).

It is not that it matters it is the principle of the thing. This is website for deals that are available just NOW not what could or will be available in 6 months time. If that was the case nothing will EVER be voted hot as everything reduces in price eventually.

I kinda understand what you are saying, except the game isn't available "now".
If it was a pre-order, and they promised to pricematch the best price available on the day of release, the heat on this thread would reach stratospheric heights.

As it is, it is almost a certainty that this price will be bettered, and you will be playing a game on release day for £38.99, whilst most will be playing it for £30 or less at the exact same time.

Never said it was but it was available at "pre order" at the cheapest price that I could find. You could be right that it will be available when it is released cheaper (that is about 6 months away). Six months AFTER it is released it will be cheaper again
