This is the cheapest this key is online currently if you wanna play on Day 1.

I'm expecting this to get downvoted just like my Destiny 2 and Battlefront 2 posts were, because of opinions on pre-order culture and devs "burning audience" hahaha

Why is it not? alternatively, you could go buy directly on Steam at £44.99

Which seems fair enough to me. Why would anyone pay £33 for something they won't receive for another 8 months?

And if it goes the same way as Infinite Warfare, it will be £10 this time next year

At least with console you have trade in value. With PC you pay full whack and are stuck with it. I'll buy a new release for around £40 on console and sell it for close to £30 when finished. If I like it, I'll buy it on PC when the price drops. If not, I lose a tenner. IW was a perfect example of that lol

Because you're saving money?
If users choose to wait and buy on day 1 at a higher price then that's fine.
If users choose to wait until 6 months post-release, where you'll most likely find it for £20/25, that too is fine.
If users choose to buy at a reduced price now in preparation for day 1, that is also fine. right?

Like I've mentioned in previous articles, you can always initiate the process for a refund if the price drops to a lower value, or you find it cheaper elsewhere. I've done this in the past and it usually takes about 24 hours to appear in my bank / paypal wallet.

So you buy on console for £40.
Sell for £30.
Buy it again on PC for £10.
Total spent £40 - where are your savings here?

I would suggest that his total outlay is £20.

So he's saved £20.

If CDKeys are sticking to their tradition, then there's a fair chance this may be cheaper closer to launch. Besides, we're about 6/7 months off yet.

Cheaper, yes at the current time.

Correct - on a game I like, rather than £30 on a game that I will never touch again. And with the current pile o' shame, I can afford to wait longer before buying again, if at all. At this rate, I can wait for it to be in a Humble Bundle

You can easily cancel the order if it drops in price again later on before release. They're pretty good and quick with cancellations.
