the samsung looks big though, wouldnt fit in pocket!

It would fit in your pocket. There's only a few milimetres between them.

The Samsung is a lot smaller than it looks here's the dimensions between the two :

Sony (89 x 59 x 23 mm)
Samsung (99 x 61 x 26 mm)

Theres a code for £10 off £100 spend for these people bringing it down to £110!!

Code is: C2UXMAS10 - not sure of expiry date.

I have a Sony W12 and its a great point and shoot camera.

Thanks for this viper  and for the code N20Y1D

That code appears to have expired.

Hiya Millarcat, thanks for that, have a great New Year

That Samsung camera has no optical viewfinder, meaning you have to use the LCD to frame the shot.

I forgot to mention the Samsung also supports ISO 1000.

The Digimax D103 supports ISO 1000, making it one of the most light-sensitive models in its class.
This allow you to use faster shutter speeds - great for moving objects and capturing crisp images in low light conditions.

It's also now only £122.65 from Currys thanks to Smithwolf here :

Thanks for the post and extra useful info all

Not sure what resolution the d103's iso 1000 is at. Be surprised if it was at 10mp and useable on such a small sensor. However it looks good camera for the money.
