Campbells Condensed Low Fat Mediterranean Tomato Soup 11p per can - usually 40-50p+

Just been into my local Tesco Metro, and Campbells Condensed Low Fat Mediterranean Tomato Soup is marked on the shelf edge label (SEL) at 22p per can - discontinuef.

So, I put 5 cans in my trolley as I LOVE this soup, and it went through the till at 11p per can!

Seems like a rather hot deal to me...

Not sure if this is available online, but it should be available nationally in store, where stocks last of course.

Cheap price, but tastes like the inside of Anne Widdicombe knickers (not that I would know :whistling: :giggle: )

What?! I absoloutley LOVE this flavour! :-)

I quite like it. They were saying on BBC News 24 a while back that Campbells as a brand is to be no more. (probably why Tesco are discontinuing ??) They were suggesting storing a can for a few years to see what happened to the price as the design is a classic after Warhol's art...

It was only this flavour that was "discontinued".

You are right though. I was reading about it a few weeks ago. Apparently Baxters(I think) bought Campbells (the company) but not the name (I think!) so in the not-too-distant future, they won't be allowed to use the Campbells brand.

Daft if you ask me, but there we go!
