Don't know about this pump but bought similar item a few months ago which took 4 D sized batteries (so cordless by definition). Was not impressed as it was very slow to inflate a double airbed and used 1 set of batteries per inflation - not impressed. Better to go for a car plug-in type or use a good stirrup pump.

Ive used one of these for years (I use rechargeable AA's in D Sleeves) and I use it to pump up the boat at the beach, airbeds at home. Very handy being portable and mine pumps anything up in under a minute. You only need to make sure the seal around the nozzel is tight (using the correct nozzle adapter) otherwise you end up like andypand above lol.
