Ok, so they are full price at £25, but when put through the til with FOUR butane cans (£3 each) it deducts a load off bringing it to £18 something. However, add a second stove at £25 and it ALL goes through at £22 something.
So 2 x £25 stoves + 4 x £3 cans = £62 for £22 (and some pennies)
Perfect if you can go halves with someone for a stove and fuel for £11 each.

In store only as I can't see they sell the gas online, but it was the staff advertising it, said they've checked with HQ.and it's not a misprice, despite it looking like one.

I only went in for a cheap tent

Far cheaper at Go Outdoors.
Try Home Bargains, bought one last year for £8.99, gas was 4 for £3, saw them last month at £9.99.

Oh well, fair enough, i didn't do my research, wanted something for this weekend, Got the vango 2l kettle for £8, so making my own brekkie and cuppa instead of a burger van and it's paid for itself.
This is a good deal because the heat output of this camping stove is higher than the cheap ones that you can get from Asda/Home Bargains etc.

I bought one of the cheapo ones before buying the one shown on this offer and there is no comparison.

I just wish that I had known about the price by adding an additional stove - I would most certainly have gone for it.

You are talking complete rubbish!

Both use the same gas canisters and can both reach the same heat output.

Absolute rubbish...... This Campingaz one is identical in every way to the Gelert ones i've seen and is also identical to the no name cheapy one i own. The same stove is branded in many different makes.
I've had 3 of these, all different makes and they are all EXACTLY the same thing. I prefer these to the dual burner kind as I find it difficult to get 2 large pans side by side on those. You can buy these for less than a tenner all over and the gas canisters cheap too.
I won't comment on the heat output of the Gelert model because I have never looked at it. I have, however, got a cheapo Camping Stove and I have the model on this thread and they both state the heat output and the cheapo one is lower than this one. Yes they use the same gas cylinder.

It makes no difference to me if you want to say I am talking "rubbish" - I know that what I am stating is correct - if you are incapable of checking the facts before accusing somebody of talking rubbish, that in itself speaks volume.

I would, however thank the OP for the post - not a bit of wonder a lot of folks don't bother to post "deals" when some idiots do nothing but slate them. Maybe some cheapo ones are the same heat output - the one I have is NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nobody in the previous three posts had slated the OP .... Possibly another figment of your imagination?

I noticed you decided not to provide any proof of your claims either.
If you want proof all you need to do is look at the heat outputs when you are next at the shops or you can look online If you had shown a modicum of respect I would have even be prepared to show the proof, as after making my post I had got my camera out and was just about to post the proof - I logged on here to upload the proof but after reading your post I can't be arrised.

But all the info is readily available, people can choose to be thankful to the OP for posting the deal, **** it off, buy cheapo ones (which will certainly do the job although SOME of the cheapo ones will do it flower as some have lower heat outputs), or read your vitriol by accusing me of talking rubbish - I don't care which - but facts are facts - and now that anyone reading this thread is aware they can choose to check out the facts if they decide they want to buy a camping stove. You meanwhile want me to prove myself - you are not worth it - go check yourself.

Even this makes more sense than what you first posted!

Yes thats right, make fun of someone who has arthritic joints and sometimes hits the wrong keys on the keyboard - does it make you feel big and clever - for goodness sake you must be one sad person - good luck in your life, you are going to need it.

I won't bother coming back to read your further diatribe - other folks reading this thread can make up their own minds - they now have all the facts.
