As nice as Hake is, it has one of the higher mercury ratings of fish.

Hake belongs to the cod family, but is more delicate in texture than both cod or haddock. Beyond taste (mild, flaky and tender), there are many reasons to love hake.

Bargain if you can get it. Probably clearance from the £2.99/pack offer they had going. Didn't see any hake last time I was in but I will have another look tomorrow to see if they found some more!
We found it to be OK and good for the money at £2.99.

amazing price for these. Wish there was a Farmfoods near me, I'm on strictly hake or cod currently!

Fab, I'll have a look today in my local store. Made a fish pie last time they were on offer (edited)
