Must admit have used Canadian affair for myself and taken my daughter granddaughter and great granddaughter to Canada to both Toronto and Vancouver. Never had a problem staff and crew have always been so very helpful and I would like to say a big thank you.
i've recently flown gatwick to calgary last month (14th august - 21st august) with canadian affair / air transat and not all the aircrafts have been refurbished, the return flight was fine, but outbound was seriously horrendous, old broken seats ripped carpet, etc (i took photos to prove to friends and family how bad) the only entertainment was 2 portable tvs per cabin dotted down the middle playing old films on vhs, the plane itself was very noisy and rattled, the food was unedible and run out of options very quickly, soft drinks were thimble sized and we only had 3 drinks over the 9hrs. I paid to prebook a plus seat but this meant nothing as i lost it due to an aircraft change (the aircraft change and being given a normal seat was done 9 days before on the 5th august, but they didn't bother to notify me, and was unaware until check in :( would not recommend, i spent my week worrying about having to fly back, and seriously considered booking a last minute return flight back with air canada
Have booked my flight for beginning of May :D Quite looking forward to it now! I have my £2.50 return Belgium trip in a couple of weeks too! :p
Wow! That's a good price! Flight prices to Canada have significantly risen as of late :( First time I came to England from Canada (7 years ago) was via Canadian Affair for $299.99, or, at the then exchange rate £120. In 2008, my flight was $1097.10. Now, for my my family to come over next summer, it's hovering around ~$1500. Heat added by the way! :)
I do - last bargain flights to Canada I went for the weekend - that was £150 return though https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/199-return-toronto-with-flysunwing-958769
Do you often take spur of the moment transatlantic flights?
I was lucky enough to have booked tickets for May of this year for £349 into Vancouver and back via Calgary into Gatwick. These flight deals above are mentioned on Holiday Pirates too, but for those tempted for flights next year use the code Canada 2014 for 10% off, also go via either Topcashback or Imutual for another 2.1% off. When you book via these sites try and book Hotels and Car at the same time to max cashback as you can't add these later. Canadian Affair also have better one way car drop offs than you can get locally. Let's hope those £349 flights appear again :-)
use the code AUTUMN OFFERS and it takes £20 off the booking.
Well I booked 4 tickets going out on the 4 and return on 18th oct and one going out on 11th and return 18th both worked for me
Good price to be fair, I just paid 800 for a ticket few months ago.
Good price. Good airline...
Handy for Florida next year,thanks.

Seems like £22 on that link - have I missed something?
I will see you there then.
No Way!! I'm booking my tickets tonight :( Anyone know of any others?
Awesome place, it's how a city should be.
The JANUARY SALE voucher code has expired.
Was going to book until I checked the average temperature in February
Things to do in Toronto
3 friends and I have booked the 14 night trip :) really excited... I think the only stressful thing left to do is plan the campsites. Does anyone know if parking a 9m long vehicle would be a bit of a nightmare when you want to see the sights on the above route? Cheers
Hello can you tell me when this deal expires.. also i seem to get an error when following the link? Please can you help.
Great deal and possibly the most beautiful part of Canada (especially since it's mostly British Columbia). The recommended stops in Penticton and Revelstoke are two of my favourites. While early May is just before the official summer tourism season the weather in BC is warm and spring-like. Penticton features a large number of small and very high-quality wineries where you can taste and buy (tastings now cost about CDN$5, discounted you buy a bottle). Revelstoke is a picturesque alpine city at the foot of the rookie mountains, mostly in the downtown area; few people venture off the motorway when passing through Revelstoke. When visiting Banff National Park, make sure to stop by Lake Louise as it's a stunning sight. Also a note, there are two levels of public parks, national and provincial. Your best bet for camping through BC are the provincial camps and there are several around those sights; if you can, book ahead. Of course plenty of private caravan parks exist. Many in Penticton are minutes from the southern beach.
I can comprehend why they wouldn't want to let you reduce on the street same day as traveling in, even after consuming 5 liters of water while visiting to terminal, on aircraft, having a hiting excellent organic shake upon getting 'Calgary & consuming all the way to Banff I still experience smashed up each & every time, unless I fly having been improved, dangle over doesn't even start to explain the sensation, best to tablet up & quick sleep the journey away.
Affordable flights, This is cheap from Canadian Affairs last minute special offers.
There are also other UK airports available for this price and you can also fly to varies destinations in canada. its not only vancouver.
Fantastic, This is cheaper than Canadian Affairs last minute special offers, booked thanks
Anyone tried Air Transat ? ;)
Your fare is expensive because other site provide the cheap fare from it.
Really appreciate your input, so much cheaper than anything I've paid in the past. Thank you.
They ditch OHIP now then?
go away spark your annoying, your points mean nothing...... no country has free health care
Thanks op, but the ticketing is way to restrictive for me :) I'm intending to stay longer!
oh i miss shopping in toronto,24 hour cafes, sales were great.
Thanks op this is what I was looking for
Great deal! Hot from me :)
Cheers for the unexpire
Great price, I was looking for Manchester to Toronto around that time but this time of year only one flight a week. One week too short two weeks too long. Nearest price on scheduled airline is over £100 more but you get to chose the days of travel, and get a little more luggage allowance and can pre-book seats without cost . Transat aren't the best airline IMO but at that price is a good deal.
Go through Quidco or TCB i got £8 back
okay cheers, looking to go July!
I expired it as the flights I was gonna book initially came up at £258 and the next morning after checking with she who must be obeyed (and trying to book) they had gone up to £406 each.! I should have checked if other flights had also been changed but I didn't.....my apologies - and thanks for reminding me that some discounts are still there if you can go now. I'll keep looking for next Sept.
Code still works, somebody posted on the vouchers section its expired.... Its not as you can see
Just booked MCR - Calgary over Christmas, £448, code saved me £50! Thanks!
Just back from a month in Toronto for just over £250. It's the first time I've used this site and it won't be the last :) Oh and I'm 6'3 and I'd say that as long as the dude in front doesn't have his head in your lap (!) I found it comfortable enough... Cheers everyone!
I was sat by a fat bloke, legroom was fine but was restricted by width because of the big bloke., on the way back slightly different aircraft, same legroom but,tv screens for each and better seats, enough space.
Hi, I have searched the market and found some Cheap and very nice affordable flights at Travellax.co.uk they provide many other facilites with the flight its a company u can trust on.
Anyone got a new discount code for canadian affair? my brothers getting married!
Thank you for this; we've just booked two flights to montreal from gatwick for 10 days over the "royal wedding" period. We've technically only used 5 working days of holiday! Cost a little under £260 each return! So excited!!!
I often do the reverse and fly to upstate NY to get into Canada albeit not Toronto
Wow. What a great deal, was looking for flights to Canada for my easter break (I'm a international canadian student in the UK) a few weeks ago, and this deal trumps the $630.00 deal I saw by far. Just booked a round trip to Toronto. Thanks OP! :p Oh and the 15% worked for me as well! 8)
That is still a GREAT deal. PS: WATCH OUT for "You MUST provide us with details of your insurance before you proceed with the booking". Get insurance elsewhere. Cheaper.
Have the prices gone up now? Cheapest I can find is £300 return
Great deal mate. Pity I don't have holiday to go there. Been to Toronto, wonderful city - Niagra falls is about 2/3 hours away - great great place.
Great deal, voted hot. Many thanks for posting this!
I have that problem as well, it says im logged in, lets me leave comments etc, but whenever i click on the hot or cold buttons the heat doesnt change, just greys out so i cant vote again. Visually nice changes but its completely knackered the site :(
I have booked to go end of may and when I went to look at the seating plan, most of the seats have already been reserved. Assuming the information is accurate, I would reserve your seats if you want to guarantee to sit together. it could be a bit of marketing to get people to pay extra though..... You also have the benefit of not having to get to the airport really early to try and get seated together which there is no guarantee of.
U may also have to consider £18 (return) per head in case u r traveling with some one and would like to sit together. also there are premium seats available for a premium add on fare. what are the chances that a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children (aged 2 and 5) will be offered to seats so that everyone could sit together? any idea?
the missus booked this last year, as was a good deal, they then reduced the prices further around april/may
Flown with CA before for at least £50 less on all of these routes. Yes a good deal but nothing that great by their standards... think they have raised it over the last year of two. eph
That is a good price for a flight to Canada. My family flew to Toronto last Summer, good service at a decent price. I am heading over to Canada in a few weeks and unfortunately Canadian Affair only travel n certain dates to Toronto in Winter from Manchester so I usually fly out with one of the scheduled US carriers and transfer to Buffalo. Bonus doing this is the generous luggage allowance against the smaller charter allownce and I can travel on my dates . Downside is with the transfer it usually adds a few hours onto each journey. Still a good deal. Heat added.
please beware of canadian affair. they have two different airlines, one is thomas cook and the other is air transat. thomas cook does not allow under 16 passenger to travell alone uinless they ahve an over 18 passenger as a gardian. whereas air transat does allow, but this is not clearly stated in the terms and conditions on the website. these people are money makin scams and the duty manager at manchester airport is very strict, inconsiderate and gives many problems to the travellers. so take this into consideration and phone before booking before your money gets robbed! furthermore they oversell tickets which makes no sense at all.
i chose the dates that it said on the special offers page, and it came up at the cheap price but when i selected it and went to pay it was 606, maybe they have sold out of those dates or something
That may be for a particular date, I never said that it is £198 return no matter when you choose to go, some dates are obviously cheaper than others you just need to do a little searching. There are dates available for £198 return (I know as I am booked to go in September for that price) and Zoom can not match that!
says 154 but when you go to pay it's 606, cheaper through zoom, i'm afraid
Direct link to Special Offers is http://www.canadianaffair.com/en/specialoffers/defaultA.asp I flew with them same price last year no problems at all ...
