Cancel your free audible 90 day trial now

Found 30th Nov
87 odd days ago I saw a HOT post for 90 days free audible membership. This offer worked even if you’d taken up the offer before. I had and I did.
I’m a bookworm and love my kindle books continuing in audio form when I’m driving.
For those of you who took up this offer then and who haven’t set yourself a reminder to cancel make sure you do before it renews at £7.99 a month in a few days. When I went to cancel audible gave me an offer to renew at 3.99 for another 90 days which I took. Now I’ve seen the free kindle unlimited offer for 90 days of kindle books and audio books if I sign up by 1st Dec. The difference with kindle unlimited and audible is that you get to keep the books at the end of the trial with audible. Anyway this is just a heads up in case anyone has forgotten to cancel !!!.

I forgot to put my bins out this morning. Where were you when i needed you?

What a lovely thought. Could you remind me to cancel my Netflix next month.

Are there no more mods on this site?

I know it's not a deal and it doesn't affect me but a nice thought to remind people who may have forgot.

Heat given, for potentially getting a cold deal because of the silly cold voters

It's a deal if it saves you the £7.99 going out as a direct debit.

Heat. A kind gesture for those who might not be able to afford to pay that £7.99 because they've accidentally forgotten.

LOL! 123°?!

I took out the Amazon music 6 month free trial.
Look forward to being reminded next year...

is it not the same as a prime trial?
start trial and instantly cancel - you still get the remainder

Thank you!! I knew I had something to cancel and it was not audible but Kindle Unlimited.

Are there no more mods on this site?

Anyone know of any deals better than the “first month free” before I sign up...? Thanks in advance

Sorry if I’m not sticking to Deal rules but I know how easy it is to forget stuff when you’re juggling everything. If there is a Deal here then it’s getting your audible reduced to 3.99 for another 90 days by threatening to cancel by clicking on a button. Most Similar direct debit subscriptions have this eg Now tv etc. Glad it was of use to someone. It’s good to be part of a community where we try to save each other a bit of cash. This is why we post yes? Thanks everyone.

Whilst I appreciate this is a nice thought, the mods allowing this to be a "deal" sets a daft precedent.

Amazon Prime, Netflix, Spotify, Google Music, Apple Music, mobile phone contracts, broadband contracts etc...are we now to expect a follow-up "remember to cancel" post for all of them?

I mean no ill will to the OP of this deal, but I'm not sure HUKD needs a constant stream of "deals" reminding people to cancel stuff.

Somebody press expire

In typical hukd style the snowflakes come out voting when you slag off a something watch the mega heat rise just watch it go

Heat from me - I had forgotten about this and 3 audio books for 3.99 for cancelling is definitely a deal

Personally I'd rather see this type of "deal" than a lot of the carp that gets posted on here daily.

Agree with the crap that gets posted on here but it's not a " DEAL" and should be in the right place.

More people will see it here, most likely the same people who signed up at the time

It will possibly save more people money by being here and reminding them to cancel, hukd is about saving money after all (for the most part)

Maybe you should log in to hotreminders.co.uk and leave some heat there.

Cold from me. These deals are listed to try and get people to enjoy a service for the duration of the free period. A reminder to cancel isn't a deal. Can't believe this got the heat that it has. Hukd has become a very clique place from which I'm expecting a 24 hour ban for this post..

Oh .em. I was going to say something.. anyway I've forgotten.. hopefully I'll get a reminder....

Hmm, it's suggested it gave you £3.99 for 90 days, but are you sure it's not for each month? It says 50% off which would be £3.99 a month.

Jesus Christ OP, thought this was a great reminder to cancel so went to do so as I never use it.

Now I find out I've been a member for 2 years!

Please step up your game and remind me promptly next time.

Cheers OP. Just went to cancel and said it was to expensive as the reason and have been given an extra credit not to cancel. Naturally I'll be using the credit ASAP and then cancelling again

Damn, thanks mate had completely forgotten about this!

This is stupid

Oh man I cancelled 10 days ago and got nothing. Can't complain though I've spent next to nothing for about 15 audio books thanks to HUKD. I listen to them every day in car so up there with the best deals I've had from this place.

I'd hate for this sort of thing to stop being posted as a deal ... we all need to be as savvy as possible when dealing with the likes of Amazon!

Thanks ‘dataload’ that’s exactly why I posted it here because it’s where I and many many others saw the original deal in the first place. I didn’t intend to get backs up for posting in wrong place. Just trying to help.

Do you get to keep your audible books if you cancel? Ive been with them a few years and I dont have time for them at the moment with lots of credits.

Thinking I will cancel but what would I lose?

Just read this offer and sounds like id keep my books still?

Many thanks

With Audible you lose your CREDITS if you cancel but KEEP the audiobooks. You monthly fee is to purchase the books from Amazon/Audible at a reduced price.i suggest you use up your credits and cancel.
Best listens/reads over last year include Blake Crouch Pines trilogy or Dark Matter.
I only take up membership when they have a good deal on. Whether you are a member or not you can sign up for daily deal email and get notified of daily offers paying £2.99 on average for a one off purchase. Also worth noting if you buy a kindle version of a book from AMAZON then you can often add the audible version to your purchase much cheaper than if you purchase from the AUDIBLE site direct. Even though it's the same company.
NB.
With kindle unlimited you don't own the kindle books or audiobooks , you are in effect paying a monthly fee for rental in a similar way to Netflix or Spotify.
