Argos Ebay are running a 10% off selected appliances over £299
Then add code: PLEASED at the basket and get a sweet £66 off!

It's not the prettiest machine but its makes for a VERY decently priced Heat Pump tumble dryer!, I also attempted topcashback at 1% by putting the dryer in my basket then going back in via the TCB link - All discounts still applied and accepted

Heat pump?
Does it have an extractor pipe? Sorry but I'm a bit green when it comes to tumble dryers and my missus insists on getting one.

Thanks, hadn't come across the term in relation to tumble dryers
I bought a Beko heat pump dryer that was on here a couple of years ago. If you have loads and loads of washing and locate your dryer in a garage or cold area then heat pump might not be for you.

You don't get the condensation that you get from a normal dryer, they don't come with a heating element and get their heat from the air, (google it) and it can take quite a while to get your clothes dry. In fact I generally have to add 40 minutes manually for the clothes to be really dry. However the cost is great and the place doesn't get hot either.

Here's a manual to see what features it has

Not all heat pumps achieve their efficiency in the same way. We have a Bosch in the garage and it works just fine. Slightly slower but not noticeable unless you sit there with a timer.
I forgot to add 'your experience may be different to mine' I think I need that as a signature.
Has price gone up?

No extractor.
It doesn't need one. The water collects in a tank that's easy to empty and is often where the detergent-drawer on a washing machine is. I just pull that "drawer-tank" out abd empty it in the sink. Easy

Not needing an extractor-vent (to the outside ) give you flexibility as to where you might want to put it in the house.

"A drain hose is included with the dryer, so you can plumb it directly into your waste pipe, same as a washing machine. This means that you'll never have to empty the water container"

Heat pump dryers are great Clothes are noticeable softer and our electric bill has definitely come down by about £20 a month.Brilliant.
How do you get to £283.49? 10% off £349.99 = £314.99
Managed to bag the Hotpoint NTM1081WKUK for £270 from AO during 10% plus £60 off.

Read reviews and hopefully heat pump wont take too much longer as family of 4 with lots of washing... or so the missus tells me ;-)
