Any tumble drier can catch fire.Normally because of folk not bothering to clean lint and condensor filters.

Does anyone have this model? I am looking for a new tumble dryer but many reviews show long long dry times for heat pump. One program even said upto 300mins ! Thats 5 hrs.

Does the code work on any other products?

A dreadful machine. No sensor to automatically switch it off once clothes are dry. If I'm going out have come back to it still working 4 hours into a supposed 2 hour programme and items are boiling hot and completely dry. God knows how much electricity it wastes drying clothes that are already dry. The timer is a law unto itself. I feel obliged to check the items regularly as who can afford to pay for clothes/towels to kept toasty hot until the machine accepts they are finally done.
The door water reservoir can be scorching hot to lift out and drain. If you are a busy family who wants to hang around waiting for the thing to cool down to finish the job. Also their is always condensation visible in the door once in use and after emptying chamber, despite tipping the water around the reservoir before draining. The filter is a pig to get out ( 3 release knobs, then a filter, held in by weeny white plugs that fall out far too easily, then a square plastic double mesh unit to rinse under the taps and then you have to rebuild the thing- a total phaff if you have lots of tumble frying to do each day and it needs to be cleared every 4 loads or so.
I would not recommend this tumble dryer at all-unless you use a tumble dryer very rarely and have time to kill. Looks futuristic but is a total pain. Just awful.
