Good price. I recently bought the nearly identical machine - the 1600 spin version of it. Very pleased with mine, so assuming this is similar, it should be good too. The only visible difference between the two is that the 1600 spin version has an awful chrome door instead the white door this one has. Ours is in a cupboard under the stairs though, so it doesn't really matter what it looks like.

I bought the 1600 version of this and sent it back after 1 day! The spin is restricted so you can only get the top speed on whites, cottons and hygiene all of which take 3 hours! The next spin speed is 1000 so most of the washes only have 1000. For mixed daily washes that include things like jeans you have to wash them for 3 hours or spin them at 1000 and then you get wet clothes coming out.

Also the faster washes are limited to 40 or less degrees which means that if you want to wash something at 60 degrees you have to wash it for 2 hours plus.

You cant find the manual online before buying and when you do get the manual with the machine it doesnt fully explain the temps, spins and times. Oh yes and Candy customer service dont answer enquiries sent by email, I have been waiting 2 days so far!

Oh yes the 9kg capacity is only on the longest washes, all others have only 4.5 kg!

Buyer beware - these machines have great headlines like 1600 and 9kg but these are on the minority of programs not the majority.

Pretty much all machines are like this these days, this is how they get the A+++ rating. I usually wash my loads on the 59 minute wash, then when it's all done, I spin it through at 1600rpm after. I only use the 1600 spin when it's wet outside or during the winter (basically when the clothes need to be dried indoors, by our dehumidifier). If the clothes are going on the line outside, then 1000rpm is fine.
