Stunning price. Good post.
is it worth getting a heat pump model?

I'm not sure if any of them (vent, condenser and heat pump) actually differ much in drying time but are just cheaper to run.
Heat pumps seem to be most efficient, rated A and A+ but all seem to be over £400 from what ive seen so depends on your usage and how long you expect it to last I guess. Im going for this one upgrading from an old vented one so hopefully will see a saving.

100%
Buy this and if it runs for a few years you'll have spent hundereds more on electricity that if you'd spent a bit more initially and bought a heat pump.

You didn't want to be at the stage when your considering whether to put another load in the dryer one week, rather than hang the washing up because your worried about cost
Is this a exclusive model? As seem to be unable to find any reviews or other retailer selling this model.

Yeah I must admit, I couldn't find any either. Did see a 9kg model with good reviews somewhere, I think the model was GVCD91 something. I'll look properly for it later see if I can find a link.

OP model spec shows 616kWh pa vs 259kWh pa for the Candy heat pump model on Tesco which is £409. Assuming electricity is 25p per kWh(typically less) the payback on the heat pump model is pushing 3 years.

Newer and bigger drum but looks mostly the same. They think that model would be good at £230 so I'll stick by my order for this one at this price.
good find op, heat added

Precisely. So if you're regular condenser lasts a long time then you'll be hundreds worse off. If you are a heavy user with kids and use 10 times a week in the winter (like me) even more so.
