Looks to be a great value dryer, I've just ordered one after having 2 faulty Hoover models from Currys. Saves me over £100 too

If this is comparable on electricity usage, it sounds like a good deal to me.

"2 faulty hoover models" you know hoover and candy are the same company and probably the same machines just rebadged

I've got the 10kg version. Had it for a year. Been good, works well.

thats not the issue precisely, one has a leaky door, the other had dent and a screw that kept falling out of the back, nothing major just unacceptable for a new appliance in my eyes

Says 14 days delivery but at checkout not in stock?

Oos for me

At an expected £71.46 per year to run, this is highly inefficient and you would be better of buying a more efficient machine unless you are a very low user. Check out sust-it.net/

For more information.

But what would you recommend though? You could spend £600 on one of the ones that cost £25 a year but you would have to run it for 9 years to make that back!

Try the AEG T76280AC from John Lewis at £316. It costs £35.92 per year to run, is likely to be more reliable than this and comes with a better warranty through john Lewis.
