I always knew it as Bully.. in fact I owned it as Bully, on the PS2.

Android version of this is very good - more playable than any of the old GTAs IMO.

It's part of the 360 Backwards compatibility program, so Yes.

if either of you are talking about the inital release (only on ps2), Neither of you would have had a uk version of the game that had (official) art that said bully on it. You're 100% remembering it wrong.

BEFORE the game released, there was a tonne of backlash over the name bully from anti bully campaigners, rockstar at the time were under public scrutiny in the uk in particular after manhunt (kid killed a friend in the uk, identically to how you could kill someone in manhunt) & gta as usual. So they changed the name to canis canem edit (uk only) before release to avoid any issues. so every single box art for the (ps2) uk version of the game says canis canem edit on it. NONE of them say bully.

I'd wager, if you had the ps2 version, you were aware of the original name bully, never paid to much attention to the cover and so just always assumed it said bully...or you had an imported version.

or you simply had the wii or 360 version which released a few years later with the name restored to bully.

however any subsequent release of the game on playstation keeps the name canis canem edit.

Not going to vote as I think £8 is still too much for a PS2 Game, however good a game it was.

I bought this 18th Jan last year in the sale for £4.99... I guess that's Brexit for you

My apologies I just dragged out my version and it’s the 360 not original Xbox.

Although I must say I’ve never seen it or known it as anything other than BULLY.

I did however find my original ps2 copy of man hunt

Well I'll be damned. Now I'm not even sure what console I had it on, it might well have been a 360 too.I definitely remember that cover art though, and the controversy at the time!

This is perfectly playable but really pales in comparison to the Scholarship Edition they later released. More missions and better graphics in that one.

I completed this version last year and still not bad but feels very bare bones.

Well you didn't own it as Bully on PS2 unless you had a none European/UK version (not sure if the name was changed just in UK or the whole of a Europe)

Rockstar purposely renamed it to to ridiculous latin title almost as a two fingers up to the tabloids.

The Manhunt controversy was even worse especially as it turned out that the victim owned the game, not the killer.
