All sizes of this well specced MTB are in stock. Everywhere else seems to be £100+ more expensive.

Caught my eye because it has RockShox, not the budget Suntour forks.

Here is the spec

Cannondale F5
CO2 means 'Cannondale Oversized and Optimised'. This is one of the most evolved aluminium MTB frame money can buy. The oversized butted down tube is smaller diameter and thicker-walled where it meets the head tube for maximum strength in this heavily-stressed area. This down tube is wider diameter and thinner walled where it meets the bottom bracket to reduce weight and optimise pedalling efficiency. The externally butted head tube and butted top and seat tubes reduce weight further. Hourglass-shaped seatstays deliver vertical compliance. Mud cutter chain stays offer acres of mud clearance. When Cannondale call this frame CO2 (for Cannondale Oversized and Optimised) you know they've not just come up with a catchy name. They're describing engineered-in benefits you'll appreciate whenever you take to the hills.

Talking of highly evolved, you know you can rely on the RockShox Dart forks whose 100mm travel can be locked out easily via its TurnKey knob. The 27-speed Shimano Deore shifters move the SLX Shadow and Deore front mechs with Rapidfire authority. Avid Single Digits prove that V-brakes remain an easy-maintenance lightweight option. Hutchinson Iguana tyres bite and grip.

All these elements come together in the Cannondale F5 - a bicycle that delivers the performance, the control and the dependability you look for every time you hit the trails.

I bought this last year, 2008 version, great service, had no problems at all, great bike, mine has the Dart 2, although it's fine for my type of riding, not hurtling downhill at 60mph.
Good value - and many other interesting offers on site including the feminine version of the Cannondale F3.

They also have bikes for everyday use..
Nice bike, just need to sell my 14 year old stumpjumper to help fund it!!
The Rockshox dart 3 forks do not live upto their don't buy this on the strength of the forks alone.

Personally I'd rather have a carrera Kraken with the Suntour XCR forks with120mm Travel and lockout that actualy works...and Tektro Auriga Comp hydraulic disc brakes.
I'd rather have the bike that fits me properly. Then I'll think about the spec.
