I just saw another price drop by Amazon on this camera.Small difference between this and 80D. 77D is smaller lighter and have better high ISO performance due the new digic7 processor. No need to put code. It will reduce the price at checkout.

You have to manually select the voucher which is near the price box then it adds to the basket at the lower price.

Thanks
Excellent price (cheaper than import)
I just posted a deal and bought the camera. Silly me how I convince myself to buy one...
I recently purchased this camera and love it. Settled on this after comparing specs between this, the 800D, and the 80D. This is a great price. I paid £660 for a grey import, but it included the 18-55 STM lens. £500 is for body only is pretty comparable, but this one is legit with Canon UK warranty. If this deal were available at the time, I would have gone for it.

I watched a lot of reviews online and I this is probably best £500 spent on camera body. I have 50mm 24-70mm 2.8 and 70-200mm f2.8 105 macro. Hope this will work well with autofocus.. Kit lens doesn't cost fortune but I was thinking about Sigma 17-50 f2.8 as well...

Utter bargain at £500. Lacks a couple of touches found on the 80D, but a hugely capable camera for a serious hobbyist or semi-pro.
Cheap than the lowest price on Camera Price Buster (£614 - £85 cashback at Wex Photo Video):

Not sure whether to go for this or the 200D with the 18 - 55 STM lens for £439 after cashback.

Looking to upgrade from a 750D, particularly for low light. Would this be worth it? Was looking at an 80D.

Dual Pixel autofocus with 45 cross point and new sensor with digic7 is worth to upgrade.
Voted hot. Been waiting for the 7d ii. Also fancy a Fuji Xt20.

Smallstools is correct though I wouldn’t give too much weight to that price. It was one of Amazon’s glitchy, (available for only an hour or so) prices. Good if you can catch them but nothing to factor in when comparing current prices for this camera.

By the way, I too have this camera bought for the Amazon glitch price but even for the current money, I think this camera is very good value. I especially love the in camera stabilisation coupled with my IS lenses. Rock solid video. I haven’t missed any of the slightly better spec of the 80d yet.

As I remember sometimes I needed to use micro adjustment some of my lenses and 77d doesn't have this option in menu. Do you think it's a deal-breaker?

So to be clear....are there two sets of discount? £85 from Amazon and £85 from Canon?

Not really as kit lens cost £60 on eBay. And the price in cameraworld showing after Canon discount. £500 vs £640
Great price, time to upgrade my 500d I think
Hi,

Could someone help me out again please

amazon.co.uk/Can…77d

The same model but with the kit lens works out at £180 quid for the lens. Worth it?
This has just dropped by £20 - £480 with all discounts (although temporarily out of stock) - I just cancelled my order and reordered.
is this better body than a 200d
in what ways?
Alandover7 h, 49 m ago

in what ways

They are very similar, 77d has a more premium build and a top lcd and also more focal points (45 compared with 9). There are are a few other small things, but the 200d has some advantages too - cheaper and smaller/lighter. The key things are the same so not much in it.

Done the same, not sure how long to wait for Amazon to get it back "in stock" though.
John Lewis are doing a £85 off if you trade in any old camera plus £85 cashback from canon and two year guarantee.
^ the base price is 699 at JL, so it's more expensive and you have to give John Lewis an old camera.

Not really a deal tbh.

Almost everywhere else is doing the double £85 discount, without requiring a trade in. Argos, Jessops, Currys etc all have this deal going on.

I emailed them today to ask about an estimated date for getting it back in stock, and they've changed the description to say "Usually dispatched within 1 - 2 months"
