I know this is of limited appeal and yes, it's very expensive BUT the Canon store has 10% off selected lenses for this weekend only.
The Canon EF 100-400mm Mk 2 full price is £1,909.99, making it quite expensive compared with other retailers but, if my maths are correct, with the 10% off it drops to £1719. According to Camerapricebuster, the next cheapest is £1788 from Mifsuds and £1789 from Amazon. It's also free delivery from Canon.

Want one, can't afford one! Panamoz have it quite a bit cheaper if you don't mind a grey import.
You can get it cheaper if you buy a grey market version.

Panamoz £1475 with 3 years UK warranty and no import taxes.
Digital Rev £1429 unsure about the warranty length or taxes.

There's probably lots of others too.

Aye, I looked at grey market but tbh, spending that kind of money the grey market and their warranties worry me. I'm a scaredy cat!
Wouldn't buy from Digital Rev now. Their prices don't include import duty where Panamoz promise their prices include all import and customs duty.
I do a bit of photography. Amateur photography eh? Amateur photography, ,nudge-nudge wink-wink, say no more. And where this is a very expensive bit of kit, having over £100 shaved off the original price isn't to be sniffed at. So even though I could never afford it, I know a good deal when I see one. Heat, bro.
Panamoz are excellent, use authorised Canon service centres for warranty. Very quick delivery too. Just got a 5dmk4 from them

I have bought 2 Sony lenses from Panamoz recently and I've used their warranty on two items.
One of those items was out of the official 1 year UK warranty and Sony charged me to have it checked/fixed.
Panamoz refunded me the cost I paid for the check/repair, as it was still within their 3 year UK warranty.

Hi madmackem,

Pardon me for asking ( I genuinely don't know the answer) but how can they use authorised Canon service centres for warranty repairs? I honestly thought that grey imports were not covered by full canon warranty so firms offered their own warranty?
Panamoz would pay any bill for any warranty work I guess, just that they use Canon authorised repairers (not necessarily Canon at Elstree).
