As mentioned in the original Amazon post, it's only Fulfilled by Amazon... There were a couple of people who recommended not buying from them... I would personally rather walk into Jessops and buy it, but my Jessops has a car park

Once again, I'd rather walk into Jessops and spend the extra £4...

Yeh its best to go for Jessops. The lenses fulfilled by Amazon will be fake. Better to be safe and its easy to return if anything goes wrong with it.

I agree you may even get a few extras as freebies , but as my nearest Jessops is nearly a 3 hour drive so post is the better way for me

i'm sure they will have some back in stock soon... hopefully the 5% will still be valid by then!

Not really true I'm afraid,
Quidco website says that using a non quidco voucher means that your order will not track, and lens5 isn't a genunie quidco voucher code. They do have quidcofive but this states that it's not for DSLRs or lenses so either take the 5% or the 6% quidco, but not both

That is really quite annoying, which means this is no longer the cheapest out there... Still tempting to go to Jessops though to get some guarantees.

Thanks

Thats why i ordered from jessops after reading about the amazon seller,i would rather pay those extra few pounds more, jessops tell me they are getting more in this week so there you go if you want one just order it and they will post out when available

If it helps anyone - i purchased this lens through Amazon recently for the wife, ordered Friday night arrived well packaged Monday. Which is why I posted the message.

Someone earlier stated that they were fake - which I am 100% sure they are not, at least this one isnt judging by the images she's taken with it and how it compares to the stock lens.

Oh incredible sage, can you kindly share some of your great wisdom with the rest of the world and tell us why you so boldly state that and how us mere mortals would tell ?

Obviously if it is then we will take it up with Amazon but otherwise please dont be so alarmist !
