Seems a good price. I have the EF-S 10-22mm, any benefit in swapping to this one other than IS, STM and the smaller form factor?

Think this one is a bit sharper, but also think yours is better weather protected and metal build? It's a long time since I researched them.

I did it the other way round and sold my 10-18 to buy the 10-22. The 10-18 feels extremely cheap and not well made plus the mount that connects to the camera is black plastic rather than metal.

The 10-18 did look fairly sharper and the pictures were better quality from it. The 10-22 always looked so soft in comparison but it's a much older lens. The 10-18 only becomes the equivalent of 16-29 whereas yours is a 16-35 with the 1.6x crop factor, I felt like with the 10-18 I also needed to own the 24 pancake but with the 10-22 I was happy with just that one lens instead of the pair.

The 10-22 gives less glare/lens flare if you take pictures towards the sun too and has a better overall aperture.

They're both pretty niche lenses really and are designed for landscape use or interior home shots. If you're indoors you'd probably benefit more from the image stabilisation and if you're doing landscape the stabilisation means you don't really need to carry a monopod or tripod when shooting at f11 and stuff.

I've since sold all three lenses and only do macro now, but if I could do it again I would have just kept the 10-18 and 24 and not bought the 10-22. It was also hard to resell and took weeks whereas the 10-18 and 24 sold on eBay almost instantly the same day.
Thank you!
OOS, but a good deal
