This scam again.

New , sealed, contact before order : barysell (at) yahoo.comThank you

Avoid!

Thanks...don't hold much hope though...

Is this a scam?

That is VERY cheap... too good to be true... probably is!! I'd be careful before you part with your money.

Why would a market trader ask you to email them first?
They then email you back sYing they have problems with amazon but if you email them your details, they'll dispatch tomorrow.

Now sold out?

Has been post 3 times today already. Different seller each time and saying the same thing. I hope I'm wrong.

May be these seller are trying to show that they are also part of this deals.....

Okay well I have ordered this, wish me luck as I hope it arrives. WIll update with any news from seller.

It's cheating from the seller, not true, your order will soon be cancelled without any reason after you place your order.

Thank you for the updates guys.

I e-mailed the seller regarding a Macbook Pro at £630 (new)
Seemed a bit too good to be true... and the seller told me to email him on Yahoo O.o
Good feedback though ;/

This is what the seller said:

"Please contact me at: [email protected] com
because i went to my office and i can't acces my amazon account right now.
and we discuss in my personal address: [email protected] com"

If it's too good to be true, it probably is

Fair enough, should always stick to that motto. Well I can't cancel the order so I suppose I will wait for this item to not show up then. If he emails me wanting any details it's then out of Amazons loop and you have no guarantee right?

Thanks everyone, Dan.

**Edit** Found I could cancel the order, done.

I thought £620 was a bit cheap for a brand new MBP and I was right. Regardless of it being an older model slightly.

Hopefully the camera comes for you... keep us updated. Damn, the feedback must be faked too <_

Is the seller a scammer? What about the feedback? Faked?

I don't know, but unless they are shady goods there is no way they can be sold that cheap. Certainly tempting but being realistic prevails.

Wow he wants £350 for a new iPhone 4 - 16GB... that's too good to be true.

Why would a marketplace seller write that? ;/

but if it was a scam would you not be covered by Amazon or you credit card? from this Amazon page . .A-to-z Safe Buying Guarantee Protection
Place your merchant order through the Amazon.co.uk Shopping Basket or 1-Click and your purchase is protected by the A-to-z Safe Buying Guarantee. Amazon.co.uk automatically transfers your payment to the merchant so you'll never need to pay a merchant directly. Our A-to-z Safe Buying Guarantee covers both the delivery of your item and its condition upon receipt...read more. . . .. " so I guess you have some protection

I see there are still some for sale

There are too many feedbacks, and they seem real. Not sure though, really tempted

just cancelled stock count just keeps going down and then back up then after seeing him selling a iphone 4 cheap and a htc hd desire i finally cancelled. (scam) or seller will say they where hacked. seems to be the norm on the market place lately.

Good post.
£575 now, anyway.
Suspicious to say the least.

The one thing I did notice all the feedback was very brief / short and all on block ie same dates not like other feed backs

Some are fake accounts, others are hacked accounts.
There was a reputable ink cartridge seller who suddenly 1 day had lots of high price electrical goods for half the price of other sellers. I reported it to amazon who insisted the account had not been hacked. The next morning, just selling ink again.

Managed to cancel the order.

All the feedback and items (MacBook, iPhone etc) the seller had have now disappeared

I can confirm the seller is a fake.

"Hello,
the MacBook Pro 13inch 2.4GHz (Intel Core 2 Duo, 4Gb RAM, 250Gb HDD) is brand new , comes with 12 months Apple warranty, receipt, all manufacturer supplied accessories. the total price is £625 + £10 for delivery. if you want to buy send me your full name and address and i will contact Amazon asap to process an order for you. delivery will take 3 - 5 days. my return policy is full money back in 21 days.

Many Thanks"

I wasn't born yesterday. Shall I reply to the e-mail?

Hi, all my order placed yesterday, now does not appear to exist in my Amazon account.
Even though I had a confirmation email of the order.

So I assume that my order has been cancelled, without me having to do so?
(I hope so, as it does appear to be a scam).

Has anyone else had this situation? Does this actually mean that the order is cancelled or do I need to email Amazon to be sure that I do not lose my £320 ????

Go into to your account and you will see what the status of your account . . normally you can cancel up to the time of it being dispatch if you can see the item click on the cancel button. If it says the its been dispatch don't worry about it under the distance selling laws you can get a refund delivered or not delivered either way. I know its a bit of a pain but nothing to be concerned about and I sure you will have no problems with Amazon
