Unfortunately SLRHut are Grey Imports, no Canon UK Warranty or support. Pretty certain JL only price match with UK shops.

Excellent price, nice find!

superb camera but go for 750/760 or if you have 150£ more to spend, go for 70d. You will be sorted for proper movie making

To be fair to the other poster, Amazon had the Canon 750D (albeit without a camera bag) body only for £319 after cashback. So it was only £10 more than this. So there are deals out there every so often

Where did you see that? The 700D was that price not 750D.

There are indeed deals out there but unless the poster posts a link to the deal they are referring to, then it might as well be Scotch mist as not all deals are what they seem. You do get some good prices on Amazon but it pays to check that they are actually being sold by Amazon; the Marketplace sellers are often grey market imports which do not qualify for cashback etc.

Perhaps he should have posted a link, but as I'm sure other people are wondering, there has been an Amazon lightning deal around 4 weeks ago - sold directly by Amazon - for £319 after cashback. For the Canon 750D body only. (I bought it myself!)

So if not in a rush to buy, it's reasonably likely another deal will pop up.

That was a good deal but it wasn't available when this was posted a week ago. It's easy to refer to deals which have expired but it's not that helpful to others (_;)

I would find it incredibly helpful. Generally a camera is not an impulse buy but a longer term decision. I would wait 3+ months if it is likely a better deal will come along. How will I know if it a better deal is coming along? Nobody can be certain, but it is strongly linked to whether there have been better deals in the past.

Knowing that there have been better deals in the past, it is reasonable to expect a similar deal in the coming 3-6 months; probably sooner, but I would wait. Maybe some wouldn't wait - but nevertheless I think it's helpful to others who think like me

That's fair comment, not sure that Canon eBay outlet is relevant though.
