Appears to be a pricing error as it's nearly £300 cheaper than any other outlet.

Guess we'll find out!

great price... BUT?

if its a pricing error, it will get cancelled after everyone and their dog gets onto this!

Why so cheap? Only 12 left in stock so maybe just wanting rid of?

Can not add to basket...

Three left now. I'd ahve bought one, but I'm well served by my Lumix G10 and Samsung WB150 !
I'm no photographer, and they'll do me. This is a helluva price tho' so tempting
Nope, thats it. They're gone. Great deal. Regret not getting it, but don't NEED it.
Put it up as expired, OP !

Will be a price error, as they have just the body on sale for the same price.

Price has gone up ?

Price has gone up ?

No they sold out....

Only had a few. Mines in my order page, but expecting this to be cancelled as its clearly a price error.

yeah I don't get why they think the kit lens is worth another £300

They still have the body available for this price, have 41 in stock at time of writing this....

three left but cant add to basket. same price with or without lens?

Listed as full price on their normal site and on their ebay store, so has to be a price error.

tempted to buy one to see. i don't really need though since I have a Nikon DSLR

Go into orders on Amazon and scroll down to the bottom of the order sumamry for the camera

Was worth a try! ;-)

Yup, oh well.

You can still order the body only for this price, so if they have relaised their price error, you would have thought they would rectify that first!

So will they take the money out of the account and then refund, or will the money not come out because they are refunding, need to know if I need to go to the bank and put money in.

Mine was dispatched!!!!!!

wangyang3458

Mine was dispatched!!!!!!

Read the above properly

If you read the message LambdaTek send after placing an order, it refers to the Powershot SX280 HS Black. Seems that they maybe meant to list that, and for some reason it's down as the 700D on Amazon. I expect cancellations, although they don't have to confirm dispatch to refund, they can just cancel the order and the money never leaves the buyer's card.

EDIT: Also read the dispatch email, it says 'Your Order has been sent by Not Shipped'
Edited by: "OliverBanks91" 2nd Jul 2013

Mines says:

Your item(s) is (are) being sent by TNT. This order does not have an associated tracking number.

I am annoyed that they took the payment though. As you mention they dont have to despatch the order to refund, it could have simply been cancelled.

Interesting - all 19 are now back in stock at a higher price.....

Looks like if it's despatched they will ship you a Canon powershot sx280 hs, then claim dumb ass or out of stock when you say wrong item has been shipped, leaving the hassle of organising the return

The order confirmation says:

This e-mail is only an acknowledgement of receipt of your order and your … This e-mail is only an acknowledgement of receipt of your order and your contract to purchase these items is not complete until we send you an e-mail notifying you that the items have been dispatched to you.

Then I get the email confirming the item has been dispatched:

We thought you'd like to know that LambdaTek ComponentShop dispatched … We thought you'd like to know that LambdaTek ComponentShop dispatched your item(s). Your order is on the way, and can no longer be changed.

How are they allowed to cancel it? Surely its legally binding after the second email.

They should not have clicked despatched.....thats what confirms the order and takes payment.

......Then they have refunded money.
(Infact i never even got an email to tell me they are not going to send me my item)

"Amazon has listed the wrong item for us. Apologies for this error which is due to an automated process mismatching part numbers. Please ignore shipment confirmation, this is necessary for us to refund you."

Game Over.

You're missing the point. I've been told it has been dispatched, according to Amazon, this is my contract. I don't care if they incorrectly click dispatched, if that is the process they need to do, they can chase Amazon for the difference in cost.

Amazons T&C's state:

That is legally binding!

I'm afraid they've amended the price now to £602.56. Shame.

Move on

adm9147

Move on

I would if they'd done a misprice and told me. But they are now breaking contract. I'm sure they'd hold their suppliers to the same.

I'll drop them an email when it's not arrived in a few days. I have had no email confirming a cancellation, only a dispatch email. Therefore I'm expecting it to turn up.

What did you expect at that price, it was always going to be an error!
