I'm sure this was cheaper when this deal started because I remember thinking about buying as it came to under £300 with the 10% off...hmmm
Never used rakuten. Do they just add points to your account at checkout
Original Poster
Yeah just register and purchase as normal. At the checkout it will show you earn 8375 points which equates to £83.75. Points are usually added after 1/2 weeks to your account to use on anything on the website
With the £83.75 points you can get a new lens:

Either 50MM Lens at £67
rakuten.co.uk/sho…l_2

OR

75-300MM Lens for £75
rakuten.co.uk/sho…l_1

OR

a Large Camera Case Bag for £27.50
rakuten.co.uk/sho…_11

OR

SanDisk 64GB Extreme Pro SD Card (SDXC) - 95MB/s UHS-I U3 £79.99
rakuten.co.uk/sho…l_1

Etc....

You get the idea ... even mix and match to make up to £83.75 ish ....

Also ... Amazon have this camera being sold at £391 body only ...

Oh also those that don't like TCB there is Quidco too. You get £11.72 and it tracks.

Salaam

I'm currently no pro but I would think either 32 or 64GB would be more than enough to keep you occupied. Depends on how much you will use your camera. If recording video and taking images over a long period I'd go for the biggest you can afford.

If you will only occasionally use it then I'd go for either 16 or 32GB depending on how large you will be going.

End day it depends on how quickly you can transfer the images and videos to your PC or MAC

I'd be going for probably 32GB myself on SanDisk, currently £26.50 with 650 Ratuken points as well. Leaves plenty for a camera bag or the 50mm on cheap.

great find and is a bargain price, I think. I was searching for 600d deals and now order 700d.
Amazing, was only browsing but saw this deal and thought it was too hot to miss out on!
Thank you OP!

You're welcome. Likewise, I've been eyeing up this camera for a while and thought this was a bargain
Nice find OP, ordered one also (was originally looking at a 100D)
Buy buy buy!!

Fantastic camera for which I paid £449 18 months ago.
Grey import or not?

Grey import or not?

It's a Grey import I believe. Still a good price and still get warranty. Plus with the ratuken points you're ending up with potentially 2 lenses and a body for £302 and then on top of that either Quidco or TCB

Great deal shame I've already got a 70d otherwise I would be tempted in market for a well priced CSC at the moment though.

I use a few 16GB fast cards, that way if I lose one or it fails than I haven't lost everything. Especially on holiday, I swap every few days.

If you are shooting RAW or 1080p got for a couple of 32GB.
This reminds me, need to post my Pentax K-50 and 18-135 on here! (_;)
Are these shipped from abroad?
Thanks ordered. (Works out an excellent deal for me imo I was planning on purchasing pes 2016 and the new call of duty)

Can anyone recommend a memory card from Amazon ?
If you are thinking of ordering this, do it sooner rather than later - Pixelelectronics have a habit of raising the price once they get a few orders in....
good deal thank you
Just made it in time ... 10% offer expires in ten minutes. Managed to order one! hope my TCB gets tracked.
Any one know what delivery times are like with pixel electronics? they specifically said at checkout expect delays ... Sounds like it's coming from China to a hub in the UK before being dispatched to me.
Recommendations on a card case and spare batteries ?

Yep, states clearly around the bottom of the page it is imported
Got Nikon D5300 under same offer few days before... £323 (after 10% disc) + 89.75 in points + £22.61 TCB tracked. Still waiting for delivery time estimate. Any idea what are timelines like on this?

Any chances it is a fake camera?

Right. But is it imported before being sold to you or does it come directly from another country?

Ordered the D5300 too. Suspect delivery time is 1 to 2 weeks - if you look at the pixelelectronics ipad thread from a couple of weeks ago, that is how long it took for those....
TCB now tracked at £28.14

I couldn't say, but finding a registered address in Minsk, Belarus.
I know some places do that, they import to the cheapest place in the EU to a warehouse and ship it from there to other EU countries.

Strangely enough the address they give on Rakuten matches the address of HDEW - looks like they may have a distribution point in the UK in the same industrial park as HDEW. My D5300, ordered on the 1st Oct was shipped today. Don't know where it was shipped from though

I just received mine today. It was shipped by FedEx
how much worse off (in £ terms) would i be if i bought this today, as opposed to last week?
and how would the warranty work?

When did you order yours? My order was placed Monday evening, hopefully I will get mine soon.

It would cost you £335 now, you'd still get TCB but not sure if the 10% off code is still working.

At that price is still a good deal however if you ordered with the promotion you would have got £83.75 worth of points to spend on products, now you would only get £16.75.

You won't get the Canon manufacturers warranty but I think just a 12 month warranty direct from the seller.

I ordered mine on Friday evening. I was a bit annoyed that it was delivered by FedEx but it was packed very well. Haven't opened it yet because I'm at my night class but I will when I get home
