HOT! For £399 this is an absolute steal! I've had it since May, but for this price I'm almost tempted to buy another one!
M,m2,m3, M5, m6,M10,m100 and only 7 native lenses..
5 dark zooms and 2 almost this same focal length prime? Shame on you Canon for this!
Not sure about the 2 cashback as only option for 1
is canon giving cashback
Possibly better off with a Panasonic DMC-GX80 as currently £449 with £50 cash back from Panasonic so £399. The addition of an electronic viewfinder, 4K video and wider set of lens make this hard to beat.

Killer 22mm, sharp and tiny 18-55, you can have the 40mm+adapter and still be jacket pocketable...touch focus and superb built quality(except m100)...imo, the only real issue is if canon finally sorted out the slow focus speeds and generally the sluggish control feeling..

Forgot the also very good 11-22.

There's a £50 discount code which you use at the checkout to bring the price down to £449. Then claim £50 cashback on top via the Canon website to bring the total down to £399.

Slow focus is a killer - not good at all.
I got a samsung nx1000 years ago - too slow focus , do not use it.
edit @pwel good if they've sorted previous slow focus
touch focus is good

I went to see it in JL and it looks like it's really small, not good to grip for bigger hands..
The Sony A6000 is a better camera in virtually every area and has a high quality viewfinder.

Had ordered at Amazon for 499. Just cancelled and reordered for 449 with that voucher. It was a little tickbox on Amazon that said 'collect £50 voucher'

One reason I consider Canon mirroless is their 11-22mm lens. There is no competition for a compact wide angle lens for a reasonable price from any other system.

Yes, there are 10-18mm for Canon DSLRs (much larger) and 8mm/12mm Samyang lenses (no autofocus) but nothing is quite as compact. Don't know about Sony and m43; Fuji 10-24 is massive and costs 2-3 times as much as Canon lens.

If you shooting landscapes mainly I would go for
Sony A6000 and SIGMA
16mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary Lens for Sony E Mount or older Sigma 19mm f2.8.

I am saying that camera is bad. Why they don't want to make 50mm f1.8 or 14mm2.8. Come on these are essential prime lenses!
I like shooting wide open with bright lenses. The adapter is thick as 22mmf2.0. I bought 2 days ago original M camera and 22mm and adapter for £125. Now I want Canon create nice primes for me

The original M was great for video when used on manual with a nifty fifty but the autofocus for taking photos was slow! The great thing about the M was it had the identical menus to my 70d. These new ones like the M3 and M6 have some powershot crap thrown into the menus. If this M6 had the menus from the original M it would be really good.
