I got the M5 with 18mm - 150mm in the 20% off Amazon warehouse on Monday and it turned up brand new for under £700. Shame I don't like how it feels.

Is it feels cheap/plasticky? Or there is an issue with the controls/menus/operation? I've got the m1/m2/m3, all very good built quality/touch screen imo, but very sluggish in operation, always missing the right moment.

It just feels really bulky and cheap compared to other mirrorless cameras to be honest. I've tried a few and was hoping this was going to be the one, but sadly not.
The camera itself is very quick between the menus etc ( I have the g1x mark iii and it's the same). I'd suggest going and trying it out in Jessops though if you already have the others as you might like it. Still i have 30 days to return so might grow on me.
If it's bulky, it's not for me, prefer something that can fit in a jacket pocket, like the m6. I also got an a7ii that don't use much, because of the bigger size.

If you decide to stay in the system, I strongly suggest to get the 22mm and 11-22mm, I don't think there is anything similar quality/size/price wise in the other systems. Together with a cheap and cheerful 50stm with adapter, you are covered for most situations.
