Jessops are selling the HF100 for £489.35 and if you use the 5% off code CAMCORDER5 which expires at midnight the price comes down to £464.88. You also get 3% quidco which is £12.12 and when you get your £50 cashback the price comes down to £402.76.

That's a great deal mate, thanks.

Amazon don't mention the £50.00 casback, I guess it must apply as it's a Canon offer? That would reduce the H10 to £479.99.

I was lucky enough to get the HF100 from JL for £379 and £50 cashback to come.

Nice deal - but I think the Hitachi Blu Ray is better....

Wow. The prices of these have really jumped up post Christmas! (Apart from the JL deal)

Can you explain why please? It seems to be considerably more expensive, has less features and it's made by a company with very little pedigree where cameras / camcorders / lenses are concerned.

Cold, this was £499 on Amazon a week ago, sorry.

It also got distinctly average reviews with image quality well below par for a HD camera. Currys were selling them off for just over £400 fairly quickly after launch.
This Canon (and the closely related HF100) is probably the best combination of image quality and recording medium in a consumer camera. I'd personally still go for a HV20 (from the Canon outlet on Ebay) or HV30, but I don't mind dicking about with tape.

Still a very good price for those that missed it - and I don't remember seeing it posted on here?

It was on Amazon for £499. I saw the post on here. Unfortunately I missed it.
Still £529 (£479 with cashback) is the best price by far I can see anywhere.
As previously mentioned, this price puts it cheaper than the HF100 on most sites (apart from the Jessops Deal)
I have to admit though - Although the specs are the same apart from the built-in memory of the HF10,
I'd rather pay the extra and have the black colour of the HF10 - I just don't like the Silver colour - yak!

I'm trying to find a way to justify buying the HF10. I love it, but with christmas just gone I'd hate to hit the savings for something I don't really "need" - but I really want!
Saying that though, the cashback offer ends 12th Jan - Yikes! buy now buy now buy now!
:-D

Voted Hot Hot Hot!

I couldn't resist. I bought it the other day :w00t:
Just waiting for it to arrive. :whistling:

This is so hot you can attend any function wearing shorts and a tank top.

I've been eyeing out the HF series for a while now and couldn't decide between the HF10 or HF100, then also stumbled across this deal from Amazon which was the decider for me. Have now just spotted the cash back thanks to you! Brilliant. :-D

Looks like I got in there just in time - Amazon have just put the price up to £549.00

Deal Expired

....and now they've just gone up to £625 (From Pixmania via Amazon)......

Play has this for £549, and £50 cashback is still on, till midnight
