great camera especially for the money. new 2009 range of canon camcorders are coming out soon and so im guessing these are the last ones to go!!!

Verdict

In comparison to the HF10, the similarly-specced HF100 actually works out better value when you factor in the price of memory. Ok, the HF10 can add a 16GB card and give you four hours of shooting in FXP - comparable to a hard disk-based model - whilst the HF100 will need an extra memory card to perform the same feat. But that's hardly a major hassle, and for this reason the HF100 usurps the higher-end HF10 as our top AVCHD camcorder choice.

The Camelio S10 is a 1080p camcorder, half the size and only £130 5 times better device.

im not sure really, iv been on the hunt for a camcorder that will record in full hd and is a decent all rounder, i found some of them say full hd but record in 1920x1080 @ 50i, but this one will do 25p.

The Toshiba is OK for the money, but you can in no way compare it to the Canon, it is not even half as good, let alone 5 times better. Totally ridiculous claim.
Hopefully people haven't been persuaded to vote cold by your misguided statement.

That's why I love my Canon HV30, it still uses good old tape at £1 a pop.

well i hear that ps3's can handle AVCHD, dont know if thats true though. In any case i wouldnt wanna buy a blu ray player just so i could watch a few home movies, im just hoping that Microsoft include AVCHD support in a future update. otherwise there's always tvesrity if anyones computer can handle that?
