love your pic - like mine?

No stock within 50miles of wolverhampton checked!!

blimen heck, no stock in any central london stores best of luck to those who can find it.

no stock around me

There's something very wrong with this world.

Had mine for over 2 years now and it's still going strong, nice little cheap printer and does the job well

To get the proper cartridges (the full ones) they're £30 for both colour and black

Can you get decent cheap ink for this?

Cold cold cold, because you will feel like jumping off a building when you have to buy cartridges, very very expensive and they dont last.... oh, and dont think you can use cheapos from ebay, my canon gave up 2 weeks after using cheap carts. As an IT techy ive worked with just about every printer and i can honestly say that canons are nothing but a misery.

This is an Argos deal so I cant understand why everyones so surprised that there's no stock anywhere. That's par for the course

And just to add some balance to Spaceinvader's previous comment, I have worked in IT for many years and although, unlike Spaceinvader, I cant claim to have used every printer going, we have used a good number including Canon and have usually found them to be of good quality and to produce good quality prints. We use compatible carts from and never had a single issue.

we have an ip2000 , ip4500 and an ip8500 all running well on compatibles from 7 day shop

doesn't appear to be cheap cartridges for this model tho
