Picked up my Ixus 70 for £100 including printer at Tesco yesterday but looks like Tesco have now run out so this is the best current price.

Went up 100% today, now £199.99!

Can someone mark this up expired - now £199

I have this camera, and I bought it for around £96 a year ago when amazon did the camera case fiasco thing. It's so lovely, easy to use and produces really nice pictures. The battery lasts literally for ages, I never seem to have to charge it...but I always make sure I do before long trips.
Just couple it with a 4GB+ SDHC card and your photography can begin:-D. The screen isn't a cheap low pixel count one like some manufacturers use, it really is good for viewfinding and it also comes with a traditional viewfinder too.

Cold - I bought this for £90 including a printer from Tesco in May....

Also cold because the manual settings are almost non-existant. This is OK for casual photography but anything else is pretty bad i.e. shutter time, focus etc.

The sister camera, the Canon Ixus 75 (similar, but with a massive, brillilant 3" LCD screen and no viewfinder) is often offered by the Canon Outlet Shop. You can usually buy one on their auction for between £75 and £100.

These are refurbished cameras but carry a full one year Canon guarantee.

Over the years, I have bought four cameras and a printer through Canon Outlet's auctions. Every one has been absolutely 'as new', and always at a bargain price. I have never had cause to complain about the products.

I got an Ixus 75 from them a month ago and I am highly delighted with it. It is perfectly OK for the casual family snapper and gives first-class results. It is pointless to compare a 'point and shoot' camera like this with more advanced cameras intended for advanced users who want greater control over their photos.

If you're interested in this or any other Canon products, go to eBay and search for Canon Outlet.

Hope this is useful.
