the PG-40 is a little cheaper at amazon jersey £11.20 delivered

this is good, is it instore to ?

what store?

Defo in Asda hamilton on saturday

Radcliffe had these in stock today, sure it was £25 or £20 reduced from £40.

saw some Canon printers in my local store - they were £25

Good price but the cartridges are pretty expensive, nearly the same price as the printer itself.
Thats the downside of buying cheap printers, many people that buy them usually find out that the ink is expensive to buy after running out of the starter cartriges.

I've been looking for a second printer and i think i will hold back for another Brother machine. Might be more expensive to buy but the cartridges cost less than £1 each.

Less than £1 where from im sold on the printer

i have the brother DCP-135C compatibles around £8.00 full set on flea bay.

Cartridges are LC1000's which fit most Brother pritners.
I get them from a local computers wholesaler at trade price

2nd'd

My local store (Newton Mearns, Glasgow) had cannon printers reduced to £25.... are these same printers scanning through at £18?

Printers don't come much better than Canon. Pay less for one and your prints take longer but are still great quality.

better getting the ink for the brother printer from ink.co.uk about £6-7 for full set

is this printer just for photos or can i use it for documents?

With the new Canon printers they have changed the design of the ink cartridges again.

I have the IP4300 and you can now buy compatible chipped cartridges where as before you had to transfer the chip to a new compatible cartridge.

If you buy manufacturers ink, it is more expensive than Champagne.

If you buy manufacturers ink, you may as well chuck out you printer and buy a new printer.
