Check out the cost of ink before you buy this. Could be cheaper to spend more on a different model in teh long run.

Im just looking at options, what youi recommend?
My own experience is that epson compatible ink tends to be much cheaper than canon compatible ink if you are looking to buy non branded stuff. However, it varies by model so you need to price up the ink for whatever models you are looking at before you buy.

I had an older canon PIXMA model a couple of years ago and there were no cheap inks for it so ended up getting rid of the printer.

I know the proper branded ink is better but for printing out the kids powerpoints I'm not bothered if the colors are slightly off and will go for teh cheapest ink I can find.

I've had a HP 3050A for about 5 years now, which takes 301 cartridges. I've found they are cheap to buy and source third party, and the ink lasts quite a while. It's much better than the Kodak one I had before, but I'm no conoissuer of printers.
Just a WiFi connectivity would have been good
Been waiting for a decent price to replace my old knackered one
no WiFi at this price which makes it very limited
Ink is cheap £12 asda
Have some heat, I have seen a lot of printers for sub £20. Personally I would not buy another inkjet - I spent the extra on a colour laser printer. If I need photos printed out I send them to Snapfish or pay a visit to Tesco and use their in-store options (I have the luxury of many "instant" photo booths where I live). It always brings a smile to my face when I see these printers so checp and then discover the replacement inks cost more than the printer!
